Hard luck Swans. Guess it wasn't to be today. Let's see if we can beat United and keep alive our chances of a top two finish <ok>

Beaten by a better team today, City looked a class act and deserved the win.

However, we gave them two poor goals making an already difficult task even harder.

Last home game for my 87yo Mum so quite a sad occasion. She took me to my first game back in the 60's, Crew I think we lost 2-1. She's been on the terraces since 1938, when she was let in for free with her Sisters by her Uncle Ivor on the gate.

Its the Enternets, where the game is actual, for her next season

We did go toe to toe today and we gave them a good game but when you've got Aguero and Silva running at you you're going to have problems. Still we showed we have quality too and Im proud of the boys, it's been a great season and Palace should be an excellent contest. Up the Swans!

Me too Jager, if Hart hadn't pulled off two world class saves we could have got something from the game, and it was very pleasing to see how we more than matched Citeh all over the pitch. Fernandez had a great game at the back as did Ash, I'm so proud of our team, another season almost over roll on season 5, we are great value for the money, and our passing and possession was good today against one of the best teams in Europe........ <ok>

Havent seen the save yet by hart but in real time it looked world class. I thought gomis really bullied mangala and dimichaelis today and as said fernandez was outstanding amat must be gutted as since he got injured fernandez has just gone from strength to strength

A very entertaining game between two even sides - the difference they have world class finishers and Fernandez faffing about and central midfield giving Citeh too much space. TBF Fed had a good game but with some big errors in the area and not making it back to defend from corners (Ash in that too).
But overall it could have been 6 - 6 or any combination between if goalkeepers hadn't earned their corn, attempts on goal had been slightly better quality or if we'd have a last second penalty.

Fab - will be disappointed with goals 3 & 4 but some outstanding saves. 7
Taylor - looked lively with Montero and covered well but was outclassed 7
    Fed - Huge & oops - 7
    Ash - he's a robot - 8 MoM
Jazz - shaky start ended (all second half) very confidently. His assist was a 'world class' pass. 7
    Cork - busy but outmuscled - 6
Siggy - superb goal and busy ... but not very effective 7
Shelvey - looked like he wanted to make a statement especially against Lampard, busy but invariably failed to regain his position after going looking for the ball 7.5
Montero - GIVE HIM THE BALL 8
Dyer - worked his socks off but was well marshalled & our central midfield group offered no easy passes. Below par. 7
Gomis - lost the ball soooo many times but worked and took his goal wonderfully (almost got as big a cheer as Bony's !!!!) 7

Barrow - linked well with Jazz & inside midfielders 7
Leon - Leon 7 (liked his attempt to get the ball off Bony)
Emnes - pushed hard but didn't get time to get fully involved 6.5

Fantastic display where quality won the game in the end, They had more quality than us which was expected but we run them close and can feel very proud of what the club has achieved this season........The season is at an end with one game to go....

I agree he played well, but I keep thinking back to that header when it was 3-2.

That might explain why he's been subbed or on the bench a lot lately then.

The world class save was from Fernandez. It was the header after that <ok>
