Why do you want highlights when you can have the whole game..?

 

I reckon even people with a skin as thick as the BBC couldn't have delayed us. Even Lineker has mentioned the tweets he gets about the running order from Saints fans. Mind you, I bet we wouldn't have been if Gerrard had scored in a Liverpool win.

 

Very little difference between the highlights and the whole game in this case

 

Oh I'm sure the highlights won't be long enough for me.

 

Just want to hear those smug commentators actually say something positive about us for once.

What I do is watch the full match, so that I can analyse and enjoy it, and then watch MOTD later. You get the best of both then.

 

He has been very unlucky this season.
If you count his disallowed goals and the times that he hit the woodwork that would've been 25+ goals in his first season in the Premier League, he has had a great season.

 

Before our FA cup final, we lost 6-1 to Arsenal - then lost the final to Arsenal. Hopefully, this 6-1 defeat will lead to a similar result for Villa

Yes Villa defensive tactics were bad, but take nothing away from an energetic display from Saints.
Ignoring the goal scorers I thought prowsey had a great game at the tip of the midfield. He pressed really well and he is always looking for a forward pass. Think this should be his regular role next season.

Can't wait to see that sixth goal again. Lovely little one two between Mane and Djuricic

JWP's set pieces were all excellent today, he deserved an assist at least. There was a corner towards the end which went straight to the unmarked Yoshida at the back post who was denied by a good save.

And Clyne showed he can get past the left back, and put in a decent cross just like earlier in the season.

 

Just seen Shane Long's second goal again. What an incredible strike!

 

As someone said, it looks like Bertrand is injured. Just watched Long interview and Bertrand limped by. Hope it's something minor.

 

Just watched the first half. Amazing how the officials got Pele's disallowed goal wrong. He's so onside it's unbelieveable.

Shane's goal was an absolute peach, and Mane is soooo fast..! And he nutmegs Cleverley beautifully. You miss all this on the radio, I'm afraid. I'll see if I can get the nutmeg up on the forum later.

 

FACT: Sadio Mané has scored more league goals in 3 minutes than Mario Balotelli has managed in a whole season.

 

It was an appalling decision.
