Surely replacing Agger more than Sakho

 

You're wrong. Skrtel is your best defender by a street. Lovren has morphed into a conference player and Sakho has the football intelligence of a school kid.

 

You don't spend £20m on a player to rotate with Sakho. He was bought to start. We ended up buying a player for £20m who was worse than what we already had (Sakho), and worse than the player we sold (Agger).

 

The fact that you believe both of these speaks volumes.

Skrtel is awful and it's no coincidence that this club went to sh*t when he became a starter back in 2009.

The only reason Skrtel gets by is because he's playing alongside Lovren who takes the focus. Skrtel was awful today but not many people will notice.

And Sakho has great intelligence - his positioning is superb. With Moreno as a wing back, it means the LCB has more space to cover. Sakho did it with ease which is why we became more solid at the back. Now Lovren is back, Palace attacked that left side with so much ease.

 

I'm not surprised, the refs always are when Liverpool bottle it.

 

My apologies, I didn't realise a player scoring from an offside position is allowed, or a foul outside of the box is a penalty.

The pen was to be fair debatable but zaha was onside when the ball was played. You're just going into the typical Liverpool fan, post loss mindset ie. we lost, the ref's done us.
