Or maybe Sterling can only do it when defenders have 2 other class players to deal with so leave him with acres of space to exploit.

This year when defenders haven't got others to deal with he's not been able to replicate it

Sterling is hilarious. If we get to sell that I'll be amazed cos if city are watching or chelsea they'd be saying **** it I'd rather a player who'd bother his arse like bolaise who incidentally was ****e when it mattered

He got the Skrtel one wrong as that was a pen.

He got the Sterling one wrong as that was a pen when Ledley clattered through the back of him.

He didn't book Zaha for kicking the ball away or tripping/kicking out at Henderson when he went to retrieve the ball despite it being 5 yards in front of him.


Saying all that, he still had a better performance than most of our team today

 

I honestly cannot see how sterling can even have the brass neck of asking more than £100k a week. I would be embarassed.

I reckon Flanno could have done better on crutches today than most of the team

 

The defence is worse than it was last year (and its what held us back last year) despite spending over £30m on it. Says alot about BR's ability to build a defence and in turn a team which needs to be built from the back.
This summer has to see the arrival of alot of quality players, cause we are so far away from where we want to be and the others around us are going to be spending big in order to win the league.
