Good Lord - and that's just Year 7? I have the good fortune to teach in a group of seven schools up here - they wouldn't have that many between them - the largest has 35!

Hard work I know - but someone has to do it <whistle>

In a brief moment this morning I questioned why Parisians come to the country to get nice fresh air, then light smoky BBQs.

This evening they had a second one. Flames shooting towards the sky and Eric throwing a few chickens into the inferno.

It is still over 30C outside and to be stood by that seems to me to verging on madness. He hasn't even got a drink to keep him company.:(

Eric The Hammer actually. Well that is what we call him as he always comes down here to do carprentry jobs for his parents. About 5' 7" he weighs in at a healthy 23 stone, yet is the most gentle person you could wish to meet.

Well at the local school, Hinchingbrooke, there are 10 forms per year, each with about 30 students in, and there is a 2 year 6th form collage on site too with about 100 students per year. Its a masive school!!

Yeah a lot of secondary schools have 10 sets for each year group, each set based on peoples cleverness lol, with set 1 with the clever nerds and 10 with the not so clever, I was in 4.

My ex used to work at the restaurant/hotel by the river between Huntingdon and Godmanchester, the name of which slips my mind. I used to frequent the Robin Hood in St Ives, there are a few stories about that place<yikes>
