Sunderland won't get another point, Newcastle probably won't either, beat Man United and we'll probably stay up. Unfortunately, we won't.
Will BFS do us a favour an St. James'? We really need it, surely he won't want to lose there and after losing at home today you'd think he'd have his team up for it, and then do we have enough to beat Man Utd U11's ffs?
I doubt Sunderland will get another point this season with the games they have left, Newcastle could lose or draw their last game too. Unlikely to beat Man Utd but a win would still probably mean survival with our goal difference
We'd have more of a ****ing chance if he'd start the game with a 4-4-2 with Rosie and Brady/Robbo as the fullbacks! When was the last time this ****ty 3-5-2 formation looked effective for us?
The main thing is stability, I agree Allardyce would give us that but so would Bruce. How many other managers would guarantee us stability? How often do you see clubs go into free-fall after relegation? I'd probably want Bruce to stay but they can't gamble with the manager.
Hate going with a whimper! However if its entertainment you seek in football theres more chance in the championship what with a shot at a title, playoffs, a win ffs. So long as finances work im all for stuffing some minnows... As we used to! Oh and as an aside well done Leicester hmmmmmm
I'd give Bruce the opportunity to put things right after this season. You're right, the last thing we need is things up in the air and stability is essential. Yes, he has his faults, but that is the reason why he is a good lower Premier League/Championship manager and not a manager of a more established top flight side.
All Bruce can say is that he picked the best team available to him, he played them in a formation that was right for them, but they weren't good enough to score goals.
