I'm really proud of what we have achieved this season, the play offs were a bonus really. So looking forward to next season now and hopefully a bit more investment from the top so we can build on this fantastic season. All I can say now is well down ITFC and c'mon the 'Boro!!

easy to say - less easy to do but Berra should have let the shot go in. Would have given us a better chance in the long run

Oh well, we enjoyed the journey, not a good way to exit, but by God, the boys have given it all. Full credit to them all.

Easy to say, but Berra took one for the team then, no complaints there.

What did I take from the game.......
Berra's loss was stupid, would rather have eleven men on the pitch.
Smith looked more comfortable on the left.
McG looked good, a little leggy maybe but made some good forward passes through the defence.
Tabb gets pushed off the ball too easily.
Anybody watching Mings would have seen his recovery against Redmond, expect offers in the summer.

Proud of you all boys, let's go again next season. <applause>

I thought it would go to extra time before the dismissal. Norwich started the second half strong.

Gutting as it is to lose to the scum with 10 men on the pitch, we still put in a performance, I can take this, I had mentally prepared myself for it...

To lose against Boro at Wembley would have been heartbreaking.

Credit to Norwich. They have undoubtedly made the signing of the season in their manager<applause>. Cannot have been prouder of TOWN as they showed great character all season and very hopeful for next season we might go up automatically if we keep the core of the team and add a bit of quality in some positions up the Boys:emoticon-0165-muscl!!

Damn blast, thought up to the red card Town had edged the tie, however Budgies made the extra man count.....eventually.!
...good luck Boro in the final.!

Yeah I'm gutted but also had mentally prepared myself for this. Great season over all and an exciting play off semi final. Feel sorry for the excellent Berra but just one of those things. Well done Norwich but I think Boro will give you a headache and ultimately heartache.

Sets us up nicely for a positive next season. Wouldn't mind if Tommy Smith moved on and we bring in a decent RB, strengthen the midfield with a bit more quality and keep hold of our front line. It's been an excellent season, credit to Mick and the boys.

it was a typical town performance. we made it difficult and competed well for much of the match. We don't have the depth or variety of talent that our Norfolk neighbours have but we come together well as a compact team. I think instinct got the better of Berra. the better thing to do is concede the goal and start again. To be fair to City they created a good opportunity and we would have been punished either way.
I also think that City would have got auto promotion with the right manager all season so to be close to them for 3/4's of the 2 games is a credit to the MM organisational powers. I always thought City would have that bit more about them over the 2 legs to progress further but even reaching the play offs is more than I ever imagined. Im not a fan of the MM style but you can not argue with his ability to set a team up.
In many ways I hope Norwich go up. Partly for a bit of East Anglian pride and partly because their squad is arguably stronger than Boro's so it would help our cause next season. Heres hoping we can push on and join them in 12 months time

You lot stink of sour grapes! Just like your thick Yorkshire twat of a manager."We weren't beaten by a better side"
Your a team that HOOFS from your keeper, actually he should be called a quarterback with his range of passing. Long left, right & straight. Your midfield are only there to get the ball if it falls short from the QB.
The first half was adapting to your dreadful anti football tactics, then from the off we almost scored after a flowing move shortly followed by the "goal" which Berra saved brilliantly I might add.
What makes you think if you'd have still had 11 on the pitch that you wouldn't have been steam rollered? We came out all guns blazing and you couldn't deal with it! FACT.
If you think that team can get autos next season then your obviously on crack!
If they finish top half it will be a monumental achievement, more likely to be cherry picked and go down.
So let's cut out the crap, just except you've been beaten by a better team and move on, don't get all bitter and twisted. We've got a day out at Wembley regardless of the result it'll be fun, if we win it will be the cherry on top, if we don't at least we know we've got 6 points guaranteed ?

Nothing like showing some grace in victory eh?

Personally thought first half was even with itfc players working really hard and winning more than their share of 50/50s. Second half we came out of the traps well possibly after a rocket had been put up a few backsides and once we had the lead and an extra player there was only ever going to be one result. We always look like we can concede but in fairness we could have had a couple more late on had we pushed for it as your lads were knackered.

Despite our scoring 3 I thought your defence looked very decent.

Hopefully we will get back up this season and you can join us after 15/16. Be good to have an old farm in the top flight agin. Plus we will certainly need those 6 points you usually donate to our cause.

Well done to your team and your fans for showing a bit of class in defeat.
