So it's probably made up then? I think we might need to wait til the window's open before we can buy. Not sure Juve would want to sell right before the CL final either.
Utd have signed Depay though?? Prolly bollocks though. BUT I know Tevez is an old man but he's worth a shot, can't go worse than Mariooooooooo
Hate to be the negative one again but I doubt Juventus would sell their best player to us, and I don't think he'd want to join us either. We should stick to dreaming about signing Steven Fletcher or Connor Wickham to avoid the inevitable disappointment when we sign someone average.
I don't think any of us see it as realistic. As for the other targets: PL-proven, English (in Wickham's case), coming from a club beginning with "S" - 20-25 million sounds about right, doesn't it?
Heard the attitude thing, that is a bit of a red-flag... Both class players on their day... can't see them being worse than what we have! Would it be Liverpool without a few problems each summer? laugh>
I'm convinced journalists troll through pages of internet forums to get their stories. I'm also convinced sites like Caught Offside were created by journalists to give them a 'source' for their bullshit! Can't be any worse? he'd be a thousand times better. Actually scrap that, 1,000 times better than nothing is still nothing! Even for a short term option, Tevez would be brilliant for us. Not as good as Suarez but better than anything else we've had since Torres gave up playing!
The Red Devils are considering signing Roma pair Miralem Pjanic, 25, and Radja Nainggolan, 27, for a combined fee of £66m. (Daily Express) let me translate this. hmmmm need a stroy.. who were lfc linked to in january.. lets link utd to them. like lfc were ever after either
lfc have enquired if inter will swap kovacic for some worthless glass beads. But what we do have is a iron kettles, axes, knives, and cloth to throw in. we a re confided of duping the natives here. #ayrenegotiationgenius #chelseaand utdjustgetitdone
Liverpool get James Milner as Manchester City man snubs Arsenal free transfer Although the England international cannot officially decide his future until after next Sunday’s final game, it is understood he wants to sign with the Reds 5524 Shares James Milner will quit Manchester City to join Liverpool on a free transfer. Milner is ready to choose Liverpool over Arsenal, despite the Reds failure to make the Champions League, because he believes he will have more opportunities to play his favourite central midfield role. Although the England international - who is out of contract at the end of the season - cannot officially decide his future until after next Sunday’s final game, it is understood he wants to sign for Liverpool. Liverpool are prepared to offer the midfielder a contract worth around £100,000-a-week to make him one of their top earners next season. Getty please log in to view this image Team mates? Milner wants a move to Liverpool in the summer Milner, 29, is also attracted to Liverpool because he will not have to uproot his young family when he leaves the Etihad. Brendan Rodgers is keen on Milner and feels the former Aston Villa and Newcastle star could help plug the huge hole in the heart of his midfield, which will be left by the departing Steven Gerrard. Milner has become frustrated at City because he has been repeatedly played out of position
Two ex-Man City players but I'd be over the moon with Milner and Tevez. Obviously the latter is very unlikely to happen though
Brandie should buy following players GK Karius 22 DF Kurzawa 22 DF Rodriguez 22 MF Klaassen 22 MF F anderson 22 FW El Ghazi 20 Definitely title challenger team with sturridge, origi, balo, coutinho, ibe, marko, lallana, henderson, can, lovren, sakho, and moreno
Hoewedes apparently available for €15m this summer. Fabian Schar available on a free. Konoplyanka also on a bosman. 3 quality players who would improve our team straight away and would cost very little. Their wages alone would probably be less than what Milner is allegedly asking for (£120k-140k).
Don't mind him coming as a squad player. But spending over £100k for a squad player is ridiculous. People will say he will come into central midfield - what makes you think he will be good there? He's hardly played there in over 5 years. He's hardly played at all. There's another argument that he has a good attitude. Sitting on the bench at City for 5 years, picking up a wage strikes me as a player who has little ambition.
No they wouldn't - Kono is on around £30k at the moment, and the deal we had in place in 2013 (or was it 14) was for £50k. Howedes is on around £50k as well. Players across the continent are on very low basics compared to over here. Of course they would want an increase but nowhere near £100k.
