Maybe because we haven't won a game all season without him starting? Got to hope that trend changes today or we could be ****ed. Is he out for the season now? 3 draws anyone?
On Sen last night dick said "fractured his kneecap so will probably miss the rest of the season" lost in translation on "pidgin English" I think but yes... He's out!!
Well 5 hours to KO, nearly 40 years to the day when I attended my first match with my Dad...glad to say we will both be there this afternoon. Lot's of ups and downs since that first game - but I can't remember being THIS nervous...just wish it was KO now. I think (hope!) we will win 2-0 and I think that with a comfortable Spurs win should see us safe by 5 o'clock tonight. I think that Matty James and David Nugent out for them are significant, trust Advocaat to play the right team...my only worry is that we are at home in front of an expectant sell out crowd...and we all know what usually happens then!
Us Winning and any Spurs win sees us safe. Hope you're right mate. Gutted I can't go but have a ticket for a tenner if anyone's interested. You'd have to pick it up from my house though in Nettlesworth
Dicky has a tricky decision. Bridcutt or AJ. Ability wise obviously a no brainer but Leicester have been quicker out of the blocks than Usain Bolt the morning after a vindaloo. I'd go cautious tto start with bridcutt replacing Gomez and keeping the shape and system . aj impact sub
I agree it is a really hard decision, I just worry with that O'Shea and Coates at the back Advocaat may have us sitting deep to start with to try and negate Leicester's pace, so add the slightly more negative Bridcutt and we may struggle to get out. I could see the arguement for being a bit more positive with AJ and trying to force Leicester back...after all they are not anywhere near as good away from home so maybe we should try to get on the front foot...I trust Advocaat to get it right though.
Aye Leicester has won 6 out of 7 but only won 2 away games and both of them were lucky. If they play like they did against Burnley we will do the ****s. 2-1 to the lads.
Alright lads, Leicester fan in peace. As has been said, hopefully we both see the job through, obviously don't wish you luck today but from a neutral point of view, you probably need the win more purely given the remaining games (although I fancy you to pull off something away at Chelsea or Arsenal). Just a couple of comments further up this page though about lucky wins and only Leicester. This games could go either way but we aren't to be underestimated, it's hardly been bad teams we've been beating and we won away at West Brom too who have done well under Pulis. It might have been more scrappy away at Burnley but such is the opposition that day and the type of game it was at the bottom. It's all about beating what's in front of you. Here's to a great game and if we do win, beat of luck after today, hopefully we both have the points we need
We win today, Newcastle get a result and Hull pull off a surprise win and Sherwood will be clenching his cheeks harder than Rolf.
As much as I dislike villa... I'd prefer us to be safe by close of play today and hull and Newcastle fight it out on the last day
