A player that played for us twice ate right back, went onto play for Yeovil got transformed into a central midfielder a year in the Championship, then we get a chance to re purchase the player.
And what do the wiz old fans on not 606 think he might be a worthwhile back up?

I thought we all agreed the SC knows a little bit more than us. After all we've only seen him play twice in a different position 3- 4 years ago.

I will wait for RedPrint's comments as I believe he's watched one or two of Yeovils games.

Fair point that he only played twice for us, however

Andy Cole had one sub appearance for Arsenal before we signed him, and best I know Scott Murray or Derek Williams ever made Villa's first team. Sometimes it does work out. Granted that there are several more that didn't though

Only goes to show that we shouldn't base our views on very limited experience of the player. I remember people writing off Wade Elliott on one appearance, my wife being one, now he's her favourite player!

Loads of people thought we was silly to get rid of him without trying him out properly.

Hes a captain, so would presumably be a winner and a leader on the pitch, thats a big achievement at 24 years old.. lets welcome him in (if the rumours are true) and see what we get.

I'm beginning to worry if Marlon Pack has the ground speed to track championship standard players, Gladwin went past him at will against Swindon, we are going to need more numbers, he fit the bill for me.
