yeah 2013 looks like there aim for completing it, thats assuming they start around sept/oct and the nimbys dont hold it up more, Looking at the business opportunities it seems we are selling the naming rights which is worth alot of cash to the club

Mentioned this somewhere else. I read somewhere the NIMBYS have to register their appeal with a judge within one month of the decision to have a realistic chance of being taken seriously and not just being obstructive. if they register right on the 3 month deadline it will almost certainly be thrown out. so next Thursday is quite a big day for us.

    Lads!
What's the point in chasing this piped dream of yours. It will only end in heartache. Why decimate a lovely village green for a half empty stadium?

Perhaps if you merged with your neighbours and called yourselves Bristol United, wore a blue and white kit for home games and a red one away and changed your nickname to something like The Gassed Robins 2011 you might have a better chance of persuading the bog snorklers, tan bark strippers.textors, thackers and travers objecting to your proposed stadium that you are serious about trying to stay up for the next few seasons.

Don't shoot me down. It's just a suggestion.Hope this is of use to you. <ok>

    AND

'Perhaps if you merged with your neighbours' you'd be playing in the Prem this season.

    Fancy it ?

It just wouldn't be feasible mate.We are based in a modern affluent capital city and they are .....well,they aren't.We also already have an amazing new stadium so don't need the shell collectors contributions.Yes they are temporarily in the Prem and are ready to swap places with us next year.Call it a Welsh pact. <ok>

As a Web Developer I'm a bit gutted that our team didn't choose one of the local digital agencies, especially as Bristol is probably the strongest city outside of Manchester or London for anything web related.

Perhaps if you'd designed it Ender you wouldn't have shown so many leaving before the end of the match, and would have
clarified what an 'oncert' is!

    Hello banksyisgwynethpaltrowsfavouriteartist
    Summer 2013 !?
    If built it will certainly be the finest stadium in L1 ! We could meet in the opening match of the season;
then back to the UWE Stadium for the return.

That would be assuming you are promoted which is not likely, we get relegated which is unlikely.

But laughingly, that you will actually build something that Nick Higgs has promised, which has never happened yet!

(remember when we had pirates 1 thru 85, you're the last of a dying breed sir.)

what a waste, in a time of cutbacks building a stadium thats 29k too large for the club, another millenium dome me thinks. Still its always nice to have a new garbage dump open up locally i suppose.

Now look here banksy, you haven't got the hang of this mate have you?. You're supposed to find something original to say at least once a season.

You can be moderated on here for being boring you know - I've already sent a PM to Natch to complain..........<laugh>

Don't be such a knob Millens - you can't fill Sheds 'R Us as it is. Where are you going to find another 15,000+ mugs over there?

The "Lego" nickname coined by the Jacks for the CCS seems to have become a part of our culture now - and we don't mind. <ok> At least we do get home seat allocation sell outs at around the 26,000 mark - it's poorly supported away clubs like yours that hold us back.........<laugh>
