It'd be nice to see a few youth team players pushing for places in the first team, or at least going out on loan and making a difference.

Max Clark, for all his admirers this season, won't progress any further if he isn't playing in a competitive environment.

The likes of Townsend, Luer, ter Horst, Lenihan and Watson should be pushing to make the cup squads at their stage of development. Our youngsters must get a little disillusioned; we see half decent prospects coming through then leaving without being given a proper chance.

Liam Cooper is now the captain of Leeds, Sonny Bradley is a first teamer at Crawley (who despite their relegation, has had a few Championship clubs looking at him) and Tom Cairney is one of the top Championship midfielders. These youngsters get so close and then we let them go, the trio must be worth a few million between them now and we let them leave for relative peanuts.

Are you seriously suggesting that the only acceptable facilities have to be community funded and paid for by the Council?

No. did you read the post? Or maybe it was a bit difficult for you to comprehend. Our owner has thrown people out of a facility built by the council and which he doesn't own. So how safe will these people be at these new venues they have moved to according to yourself? It seems community groups aren't safe in a taxpayer provided community facility. So much for the people of Hull supposedly owning these facilities.

I think he might be suggesting that it's completely ****ed up kicking them out of an arena he doesn't own and has no right to. It's practically theft. He's just decided he gets the arena because he's a powerful rich person.

The sad thing is if he wasn't rich and powerful and hadn't done other good things with his wealth, we'd all be in agreement about what an utterly shabby thing this was to do.
