Tomorrow I am to attend the confirmation of a neighbours son. Being a free thinking Presbyterian Marxist I am unfamiliar with these archiac, unholy rituals. Some advice from the resident Pykies in here would be much appreciated.

What should one wear to such an event?

Will I need to learn to genuflect?

As it is a fairly young child and the catholic church is kiddyfiddling compulsory or can one opt out?

    Cheeky git <laugh>

Confirmations can be really long depending on how many kids are making it. You could be in there for 2 hours.

They're not very good friends - if they were you would have been spared that and invited in for a beer after!

I will have overdosed on timmery by the time It's over. On the plus side there will be free food so that'll be good.
