Glad i'm not the only one I called it quits after i spent a night at a mates. We went back to his straight after school at 3.30pm, set ourselves up and had a couple others arrive at 4pm. We started up at 4.05pm and all i remember is looking at the clock at one point expecting it to be around 8 or so only to find that its 11.30pm...we had spent 7 ****ing hours on friday night essentially motionless, listening to Tool and getting baked. My groggy walk home the next day involved a lot of introspection and i decided to quit that very day.
The mood isnt bad flt we're just trying to inform the hadonis/fabio hybrids amongst us (St Godders) that not all of us can be as perfect as them. I sincerely hope i hope i haven't offended St godders too much as i was depending on his abs to grate the cheese onto my pizza later.
I'll be in Mallorca in a few weeks. My usual diet when I'm there is Estrella and unlimited buffet food.
Quick question to the mods, during the close season can we have more off topic threads on the board, there's not much footy this summer (compared to WC year last year) and I feel it can be hard sometimes to get proper conversation/debate going in here when there's 4/5 conversations going on at once, obviously during the season it needs to all be kept together, just wondering if it will be slightly relaxed during the Summer?

I was smoking marijuana daily from about 15 yrs old to 18 yrs old. At first I absolutely loved it but after a year or so it just bored me to shreds, and the people who did it bored me to shreds. I grew to detest the entire subculture to the point that whenever I saw anyone thinking it was cool to 'act stoned' etc, I almost wanted to punch them. I'm absolutely fine with all other drugs and happily dabble myself from time to time. But the popularity of the marijuana subculture still just pisses me right off.
Oh are we only allowed to discuss 'real news' on here then? I thought this was a forum for discussing pretty much whatever we like? Bar politics of course...
You can discuss whatever you like of course, within reason. I only meant that I didn't think enough attention had been paid to B B King's passing. No need to be so sensitive!
You don't need will power alone. The technique I devised used a combination of self discipline and will power. It makes giving up a damn sight easier. But it takes a bit of explanation, so I'm not going to bother typing it out unless you show an interest with a PM.
