Try guessing first before you go to Google.

Five keepers have scored goals in the English Premier League.

    Can you name them?

A bonus question, who holds the world record for the most goals scored by a professional keeper in any league, and how many has he scored?

I seem to remember Peter Schmeichel scoring one at some point.

I can't think of five, but Alex Stepney(Manure) and Peter Smunkel(Manure) scored goals. Alanio Fettisio must at least get a mention.

The page I was looking at does assume football didn't exist before the Prem, so I reckon some on here will be able to add a few more if it's top flight English Football.

Just don't expect me to know if they're right or not. You can fight that out amongst yourselves.

It's an easy one. TWDIH has them all.

    In order:

    Peter Schmeichel (for Aston Villa)
    Brad Friedel (for Blackburn)
    Paul Robinson (for Tottenham)
    Tim Howard (for Everton)
    Asmir Begovic (for Stoke)

Ceni is the record holder. Has scored about 125 goals in 1200 games. All for Sao Paulo.

All of them were either FKs or Pens too.

So after being told not to google, half of the responses are Googled.

I recently read about Ceni and the guy who's record he overtook. Crazy that two keepers had such insane scoring records just from free kicks and penalties. Any outfielder would be delighted with that kind of record.

Not sure if it was in the top flight but Mart Poom scored one of the best headers I've ever seen:

Not read the other answers or googled but I think Mondragon maybe has the most goals. As for Prem keepers I'd go for Ogrizovic, Robinson, Friedel, James, and Sullivan, would be amazed if all of that is right as only taken me about a minute to think

Still not googled but Ceni is right and so are the others, anybody quoting Cenis actual stats is either a trainspotter or a googler

Having just googled to find some interesting ones (some I knew about)

Andres Palop scored an equaliser in the round of 16 in the UEFA cup, they went on to win the competition.

Mark Oxley, Eldin Jakupovic, Alan Fettis and Iain Hesford have all scored goals.

Boubacar Barry has scored a goal for Lokeren.

Probably the most famous is Jimmy Glass for Carlisle under our former manager/general twat Nigel Pearson.
