    OK so in your world a team buying players worth £1b should have no higher expectations than a team buying players worth £1 so long as they both had the same net spend <laugh>

    Your squad is the 7th most expensive in the PL. End of. No amount of BS or changing your story changes that #reality

    And since you're only concerned about net spend for your own club, you can stop talking about gross spend when you're whinging about Liverpool #equalstandards

    In at number 15 is QPR with just under 2/3 the cost of Everton's squad. QPR is one of four teams underperforming more than Everton in terms of league position relative to squad cost (Hull, Newcastle and Sunderland being the others). Over 50% of QPR's current squad value only joined this season #unsettled

    In at number 14 is Aston Villa. Like Everton, Villa had an awful season. Unlike Everton, they replaced their #fraud manager. Now they are at their natural position in the league and are going to Wembley for an FA Cup final. Everton cost £35m more, are 4 places below their natural position, and and haven't been to a cup final since 2009.

    In at number 13 is Hull. The Tigers' squad cost marginally more than Aston Villa. Like QPR they are struggling after a big overhaul; 64% of their current squad value joined this season. Hull, Newcastle, Sunderland and QPR are the only teams currently underperforming more than Everton.

    In at number 12 is West Ham. Cheaper than Everton and above Everton. Yet the sack race puts Allardyce 3 times more at risk than Martinez. West Ham want more from their club. Everton fans would be content with a bit less.

    At least all those lists agree Man Utd is the 1st most expensive and Everton are the 7th <ok>

    Bit of variation in those links although from what I saw none of them broke the squad costs down.

    Either way 4 or 5th squad cost for liverpool, the fact is we have under performed for the squad we have albeit just that we haven't under performed as badly as some people think.

    anyway as pissed as I am I can still remember that the point was everton badly under performing and all thoase links have them in 7th, so?
