    Change of subject.

Papers are reporting that Abramovich has now "loaned" Chelsea just over one billion pounds, how the hell does that get past the "strict" FFP rules!

  6. How much interest would £1b generate?

depends what you borrowed it at.

amigo loans would charge 49.9% apr so that might be a bit expensive.

bank of england is currently at 0.5% which would be i think a measly 500k per year

if a bank said ok 5% that would then be 5million pounds annually

hardly a major sum for chelsea

  8. I was thinking more of it being a way of getting money into the club. They don't use the £1b but they could use the interest. £5m pa is £5m pa

I thought there's supposed to be some FFP rule about loans and that the owners are required to turn it into equity if they don't want it to count against them

Whatever it is, I'm sure Abramovich isn't stupid enough to do it without legal assurances that he can do it. Might be unethical, might not be. No point in speculating, his accountants will have cleared it.

You have the power of negotiation depends on whether fixed deposit.
You can earn up to £10,000 per minute . Sir Gerrez do you have that kind of money???.:laugh::laugh::laugh:

  12. As far as I am aware, there is nothing in FFP about using bank interest, afterall that is classed as income generation.

If it is £10k per minute (doubt it), that would be £600k per hour and £14.4m per day. Or £5,256b per year, hence me saying doubt it <laugh>

    Funny concept ****ing with senses:

footballers wear VR goggles and only see the pitch from above. Here's a short animation of them losing their **** plus the longer video showing what they see.

    That's as funny as **** <laugh>

Just had an email from the client who took me to the toilet for the match. He flew back from madrid earlier this week and a few ex-players were on the plane, including God with a Liverpool tie on. Apparently, he was hammered <laugh>
