Thought I'd pass on this one. One of the taxi drivers who regularly ferries around 4 or 5 hull city players including hudds and Livermore told someone I know... These particular players were disappointed Bruce was given a new contact These particular players think we will go down That they will not be staying to play championship football next season Would normally take such man down pub stories with a pinch of salt but this seemed a fairly credible source.
Nothing wrong with posting gossip But to call it credible that the players told a taxi driver when then told somebody when then told you their feelings about the manager is just a piss take
What the hell are 4 or 5 Hull City players doing to be regularly ferried around! Most Australian Football League clubs have a strict 'no alcohol rule' 6 days before a game - in other words you can drink after a game then you're on the wagon for a week. Is this why some Hull City players are a bit sluggish?
Interesting, because I spoke to Liam Rosenior last night and he said the exact opposite. 1. The players were ALL distraught on Saturday, Huddlestone, Chester and Elmo were in tears. 2. The squad believe they can get enough points to stay up and are determined to. Nobody wants to leave, everybody is focused. 3. The name change thing isn't bothering the players, but the fans booing the CTWD chants are, because the players don't understand who is being booed. (a few on here suspected as much) he said it makes for a terrible atmosphere and that while he understands tradition and the right to protest, it doesn't lift the lads. 4. He said the owners are nicest people around and have the best interests of the club at heart. SO make of that what you will.
If he's taking 5 players at a time he must have a mini bus. As he got a mini bus? What sort of mini bus is it? Does he do airport runs?
I happen to know that Huddlestone is very happy here, likes the area and the club, I don't know what he thinks about playing in the Championship, but he's certainly been very happy with being at City to date.
So this is basically either the taxi driver stirring the pot or the original poster answers on a postcard
This Is A transcript recording from 555 Cars office. Hudds - " This Ull City is like an open sewer - U know " filth & Scum". Jake " I think I know what you mean Tom , But It's not going to be easy". Taxi Driver. " Are you talking to Me Are you ****ing talking to me." End of transmission.
Bullshit...I was in the same taxi queue as these five players. They told me that they can't stand so called fans making up bullshit and posting it as if the players had actually said it. If I were you, I would get rid of the first 5 letters of your sign in name
I saw Rosenior down Prinny Ave last night too - he seemed upset about something. He said 'Sorry, I honestly don't want you to think I'm a bad guy, because I'd like to think I'm not, but now really isn't a good time to talk'.
I know a taxi driver who took john terry & lampard to the humberside airport after a game at the kc and he said lampard was a ****er & terry a gentleman! I'll leave that one with you digest!
Good to hear that about Chester, I'll be gutted if he leaves. I seriously hope that Rosie will be here as manager in a few years time.
