My only match thread of the season and i guarantee a Southampton victory, if i am wrong i shall hand in my notice of resignation from the Not 606 forum.

12.45 kick off live on BT sport i believe.

A win for saints should be enough to secure 7th place at least.

Villa will hopefully be thinking of Wembley and not turn up.

    My prediction Saints 3-1 Villa

    Match Appointments
    Referee:
Robert Madley Assistants: P Kirkup, D Cann Fourth Official: M Jones

Hope you are right SK they will certainly be thinking of Wembley but no doubt Sherwood will tell them they are playing for a place. Lets hope we can finish off the season at home in style.
I'd forgotten it was an early kick off and will be stuck in a field in Wallington watching Lamba younger play cricket:headbang:

We've had a great season and i really don't want it to end in a whimper, this is a very winnable game and one we'd all of expected to win a few weeks ago.

Plus i think Koeman needs a win here to confirm himself as manager of the season. Monk is looking good at the moment and Morhinio will be in with a shout as well.

Swansea have done brilliantly but didnt have the upheaval we did. Between Ron and Mourinho for me if we are talking just PL. Hartlepools manager has to be overall manager of the year though..

You're right, however this is Garry Monk's first full season as a manager!! With any team in any league!! And he lost his star striker halfway through the campaign. What he has achieved this season is definitely equal to what Ronald has done IMO.

Yep, 70% we had that eve, Delphs winner was pretty damn good though. Took my Villa mate with me, think I'll leave him behind this time.

Who will be brave enough to put up their preferred team with so many players out of form?

    Davis
    Clyne
    Fonte
    Alderweireld
    Bertand
    Wanyama
    Morgan (is he fit?)
    JWP
    Mane
    Pelle
    Long

Think this will be different to previous home games against Villa now Sherwood is there and I think they will come at us, would like to have some pace on the counter. Is Tadic fit does anyone know?

Ah many happy returns for Saturday Tom. I hope it is better than my birthday in December last year. We always lose, and we did (1-0 away to Arsenal).

No no no to Mane on the left! He's as ineffective there as Tadic is on the right.

4-3-1-2 then, with Djuricic behind Mane and Long.

I thought as much...apart from the back four nobody really knows what out best setup is at the moment
We know Gazz is in goal for this game so:
    Gazza
    Clyne Fonte Alternierend Bertrand
    Wanyama Reed
    Take Your Pick!

    LOL

Now that I wouldn't mind seeing, I didn't put Djuricic in my team but thinking about it I think he should start both of the last games as we need to see whether he's worth signing or not.
