To all those people who are ****s on a daily basis, sometimes whingeing ****s, and especially Allam arse licking ****s, we get it, we feel your pain. But there really is no need to comment on every thread that denigrates your leader, and no need to belittle others that have genuine reasons to offer their thoughts. The web is full of forums more suited to your need to be noticed, if you need help for relevant search words I'm sure others can offer their thoughts. In the meantime I would suggest steering clear of threads such as this, it may give you more time to drool over pics of Mr. A.
Happy, I think you might be more at home on here, they don't allow any criticism of Allam... https://www.facebook.com/groups/294389550756460/?fref=ts
I don't understand you Happy, I have read many pontificating posts from you about name change, season passes etc. does that mean that anyone who wants to post their feeling should keep off this site just because you don't like their thoughts & opinions.
I understand what you mean, but it's an open forum. Okay there's some that just seem to post for attention, but personally, I'd rather a broad discussion than just people in agreement. We've seen a few times that some things that angered people turned out to be wrong. I reckon there's a fair few that hold views they just don't feel able to post on here, and I don't feel that's a healthy situation.
5 of us not renewing, and only 5 of the 15 near us renewing If the name change is turned down, and that is accepted with good grace () then probably go game by game, but personally I'm more for just doing away matches
Bit late for that, bike packed & heading down to Dover tonight, staying overnight before crossing to Calais tomorrow, overnight Thursday in Paris....should arrive at Le Mans for the practice Friday ...... riding back Mon or Tue depending if we decide on another Paris stopover, back in the UK for a day or so before we fly out to Italy for a couple of weeks in Florence allowing us to take in the MotoGP in Mugelo We gave our passes to a family in the village
Sounds like it is to do with wealth. You've got more money and the worlds opened up for you. If he's supported over 30 years he'd be used to half, and more, empty stadium.
Always had the money, in fact apart from the extra bit in the bank I've less than I've had for a few years, all I have now (for a few months at least) is the opportunity to go without worrying about taking time off work. Even the £2k saving by not renewing is no part of the reason other than not giving it to Allam
Correction - How far YOU are fed up under this regime. Personally, we are in a far better position now than we were under those other regimes (or b******s as they are better known).
Just been reading the post about last game as a pass holder after 35 years,ok i understand the frustrations about been called irrelevant the name change and so on but lets face it there was nothing more degrading or been made to feel more irrelevant than been locked out of our home ,or our owner getting interviewed at a tennis match and been told your team has just lost at mansfield and his reply was something like i dont care about that i want to talk about tennis. I took a friend from ireland to a city away game at doncaster during the fish/dolan era, now this lad was an irish hells angel he attended the game wearing his chapter jacket the long beard looked well out of place but every city fan that met him made him feel part of us,After the game he said he could not believe the amount of hate directed at terry dolan and the owners he said they must be thick skinned so when i explained about the **** we had to put up with watching every week he said you lot really do follow city with your hearts dont ya. So if we followed with our heads it would be a manchester club or a london club like a lot of ****ing plebs in our city , so lets carry on supporting with our hearts cos lets face it our ****ing heads went years ago. sorry about the rant but winds me up this is not the worst situation we have been in by along shot. I have a rare couple of days of so been on the artois excuse the sprlling chaps and chapets.
Correction - you are wrong. If you read my post it clearly says there are two of us not renewing. It also says that we are not renewing because we don't enjoy it, league status has got **** all to do with it.
I completely agree, I can cope with playing crap, I can cope with relegation, but I can't stomach a name change from a senile old fool who doesn't understand football. The name of MY team is sacred to me, call me odd or a stick in the mud, I don't care. We should, as fans, be Hull City v the world, not arguing with each other but I cant take the name change lying down & so.......
The 'he can do whatever he wanters' are mostly the ones who would follow Leeds/Liverpool or anybody else rather than Hull City years ago, and the ones that aren't: well you can read what they have to say here and none of it makes much sense, much like what the owners reasoning doesn't make any sense.
You might be right about this not being the worst situation we have been in, ie administration, locked gates etc, but it could well be the most frustrating. We are seeing the best opportunity the vast majority of us have ever witnessed to build a lasting legacy of (relative) footballing success being derailed by an owner's utterly delusional notions and sheer stubbornness- and a local owner with a track record of philanthropy who apparently came riding in to the rescue on his white charger at that. For those who suffered, fought, and survived the utterly lean years and who never imagined we would ever fulfil a dream of Wembley visits, Premier League football, and Europe; rather than feeling so proud and grateful, thanks to our owner behaving like a spoilt child, it now feels like the ultimate kick in the nuts. To me, that is why this is proving the final straw for so many. It seems that even when we reach the top table we are destined to return to the laws of 'typical City' somehow....as they say, it's the hope that kills you.
