    Think they will have bigger club interested. They are on a free and clubs with ambition will be in for both of them, especially Sam. So you can rule out a move to either Newcastle or Sunderland.

    Oh without doubt. Way beyond our reach, unless by some miracle nobody offers them European football and we wave wads of cash at them. What's the chance of those two happening. I'd say no chance.

    Lots of mentioning of trust being broken etc. Sounds like they might be a set of toxic bastards, just what we'd need really. I'd prefer we look at getting a few from these shores. We need a few solid pros first and foremost. The lack of backbone in this lot is frightening. We could also do with an injection of enthusiasm and creativity.

    We need to look at the young players plying their trade outside of the top division - look at the Mings and Will Hughes type. Those two might be set for better things but that type of signing would serve us well. Obviously if we do survive you'd be thinking about the likes of Ings and Austin, good solid characters who have been decent in poor sides. Someone like a James Collins, Shawcrosss or Scott Dann type at centre back, experienced, rugged. See how Boro go and then have a look at young Ben Gibson.

    The problem is, why would anyone want to come here?

    I can't comment on others but I always add the rider we'll get nobody because they wouldn't come. The only ones who come here are the foreign mercenaries looking for a stepping stone. Sometimes it works out ok for us, Janmaat, Cabaye, Ba, Debuchy. Most of the time it doesn't.
