<yikes> No.... I don't think there are any strikers in the tunnel are there??

I love this quote from the union:

Contacted by AFP, France’s national news agency, Michel Cavorzin, a Brittany Ferries dockers union representative said ‘most of the crew’ was not on the ship on Saturday.
Mr Cavorizin said there should be an immediate investigation into the raid, which could amount to an act of piracy.
He added: "The management operation raises questions.
"How did the CEO Jean-Marc Roue and his shareholder farmers manage to enter a restricted area of the harbour?
"How did the farmers get on board?
"How did they manage to sail the ship?
"Were there sufficient crew on board for it to embark safely?
"These are questions we shall be asking the harbour authorities."

I guess the authorities let the owners in to get their boat!

Mind you we are travelling back through Oustreham <yikes>

A few random thoughts as I set out on my hols. My mother passed away 20 years ago, and you still remember just what they did for you. It must be sad for those who didn't have a decent bond with theirs.

Pleased to see that the Nic Crewys fund continues to grow, with the Watford fans doing their bit.

WFC stadium donations and 50p coach booking fees

The port at Caen is 60% owned by Brittany Ferries, so they probably let themselves in.

My car window has been fixed at great expense. What was likely to be the switch turned out to be the motor and a three hour job to change it. The TVA alone will keep our President in decent dinners for a day or two.

The one UKIP MP and his party seem to have fallen out already. Seems as if the party would like the money on offer, but he is suggesting that principles should be applied. Wonder how long it will be before he crosses the chamber.

I have two bottles of wine open that will not keep until my return. It looks rather a lot to get through in one evening. I might try.

Today it has been very warm indeed. On Friday I will be crossing the Massiff Central where they are forecasting snow above 1300 metres. On Saturday I will be crossing the mountains in Corsica where more snow is forecast, but down by the coast we can expect 25°C. Bit of everything here.

Hoping to see what you are at while I am away if I can get a decent WiFi connection. but not banking on it. At least I will not be interested greatly in play-offs this year.

Enjoy the rest of May, I will. :emoticon-0100-smile

Just wanted to say that KP has been treated rather shoddily whether or not you think he should be back in the team.

Have not thanked you in a while for all the lattes AK.

Enjoy your holidays all. We are off to Crete for a week soon - sort of holiday home. Warmth.

Live long and Proper to all.

Apparently, they had to check the temperature in Madrid to decide whether they would need at water cooling break after 25 minutes of Real v Juve. Why doesn't someone look at the other side, and a hot drink break if it's cold enough?
