Yesterday he looked particularly evil rather than superhero. Looked like he'd had a few sleepless nights, probably dreaming about Paulinho
Sandro played well on his return against the Gooners but was hooked before the hour mark and we immediately shipped two goals No doubt he'll want to put in a performance against his old Club on Saturday. Big game for both teams but for totally different reasons. A Spurs win puts you within 3 points of the top 4. A QPR win lifts us out of the bottom 3. Hopefully it'll be a good game Gentlemen!
Turns out we've been fielding an illegal immigrant all season (well for the half dozen or so games the brittle Beast has been fit). Levy must be pissing himself laughing
Sandro couldn't play on Sunday due to issues with his status. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32681636
There's a thread going asking who's the worst signing QPR have ever made and unfortunately Sandro's name has cropped up a few times. EG: Was he really that bad for you boys?
One of my favourite players, absolutely gutted when he left. Loved the cries of Beast that went round the ground when he got on the ball.
No, he was great for us when he was fit. His performance against Milan when we beat them 1-0 at the San Siro in the Champions League was immense. He was nicknamed The Beast and for a while that was exactly what he was. We really could do with that back, I'm afraid. Shame he hasn't worked out well for you, but I guess someone at WHL had an idea that it wouldn't. I was pissed off when we sold him, but we can all see why we did it now.
I'm not surprised. Lionel Messi could go to QPR & within a few months he wouldn't be able to pass the ball five yards
Yeah, he was a real favourite of mine too. Wouldn't be the first Spurs player to have his career ruined by a succession of injuries.
Blimey, that's really disappointing to read. Sandro was immense for us and was loved down the Lane. I was genuinely gutted that we sold him, especially for the quoted £6m. Injuries seem to have just completely wrecked him. He was at one point, statistically the best performing DM in Europe, AC Milan along with other top European clubs were rumoured to be making £20m+ bids and Levy was supposedly gearing up to fend off the interest. Really gutting to see such a great player disintegrate like he has.
The Beast is being sent back to the Safari. Daniel Levy, you beauty... http://www.not606.com/threads/sandro.303747/
Not knowing about something like work permit renewals for non-EU players is pretty farcical in this day and age. Someone's for the chop, I think.
Reality must be kicking in for QPR fans today. Just been drawn against Yeovil (away) in the League Cup 1st Rd.
Very true. Hull being drawn against Accrington Stanley will be more of a kick in the balls for their fans, I'd have thought. Edit: Just checked their board and one fan was laughing about their dramatic change of circumstances. This time last season they were planning for their Europa League qualifier. Now they're facing an away trip to the Crown Ground. Ouch.
Its utterly horrendous mate. Can't believe we're back in the sh*ts again after all those years of trying to get out of it
