Not many tickets left for saturdays game nearly sold out im hearing just hope a big following is rewarded after last saturdays perfomance
I have it on good authority from speaking with a Spuds supporter back in the UK this morning, that all their team have already gone on holiday! All we need now is to convince the Spuds ground staff to make their goal twice as big as normal for us. Actually maybe we need to disguise the goal posts as well, that way Aluko won't realise his pass is in reality a shot at goal.
Have you passed this onto Bruce.......What are the chances he starts an unchanged team.....or starts Jnr?
Spurs have been playing to get out of the Europa league places for weeks. After last nights Seansea win at Arse nal that should be bad news for Sunderland.
You do realise jnr is going to score a hat trick this weekend and he will only be coming on in the 72nd minute.....
Spurs trying to avoid the Europa League is a tad worrying as is QPR's apparent capitulation in their last game..Sunderland as ever looks like they will have to do things the hard way and not expect any favours from anyone..
Yeah I'd put you lot in the most danger after us. With Leicester playing so well and your other games being against quality opposition I can see you not getting another point. If we win against an uninterested Spurs and you lose against Leicester you'd be well in the ****, although if we play the remaining two games like how we did on Saturday you have nothing to worry about.
I think we'll get something at Spurs. Might only be a point. But if Sunderland lose at home to Leicester, another point v Man U for us might be enough. If it goes to the last game then anything can happen - even QPR at Leicester might throw up a surprise.
The one thing in our favour is that when it matters, everyone tends to pull together and we get things done..Hopefully we will get the win on Saturday and be able to enjoy the last week..
Kevin Phillips said on talksport this morning that Lesta are going to Sunderland to win as they then know they are safe. Sunderland have got lucky in the last 2 games and luck can end as quickly as it started. I expect QPR to put in a performance against Newcastle who are in the worst form of all the teams still with a chance of getting out of it. Saints play Villa @ home ko 12.15pm so we shall know what Villa have done. If Villa get beat then they are still in the mix especially if results go against them. What a last day May 24th will be if say the bottom of the PL looked like this :- Leicester City 37 games - 38 points* Aston Villa.......37 games - 38 points Hull City...........37 games - 37 points* Sunderland.....37 games - 37 points Newcastle Utd 37 games - 36 points --------------------------------------------------- Burnley and QPR are already relegated. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ * goal diff. The ref for Spurs v Hull City is Anthony Taylor The match officials who did the Hull v. Burnley game are doing the Sunderland v Lesta match.
