Swansea are playing with no striker and packing out the midfield. They are defending in numbers and putting in a lot of energy. At times there discipline has slipped and as the game wears on I think we will start to get some proper opportunities.
Rosicky or wilshere might be a good call in the second half as both will go past there man and with Swansea sitting behind the ball we will need to beat a man or two to open things up.
To be fair, our build up play has been too slow and we've been sloppy in possession. We need someone to make direct, driving runs at their defence and only Cazorla and Sanchez have tried to do this. Rosicky/Wilshere need to come on, in my opinion. Inject more pace in the game.
This is the type of game we could really use Ox in. Struggled to create meaningful chances. Passing is too slow. Swansea pressing well when they lose it. Hoping for a better second half.
Does this remind you of when Walcott was due to sign a contract? all of a sudden...plays in his favourite position in the middle. Then signs the contract....and right wing! hehe
