It all depends how you view your club.
As a Man City fan I can say that as much as it's been great being on the roller coaster and winning cups and premier leagues,it's certainly been at a cost
I don't feel like it's particularly my club anymore,I'm not sure I enjoy going to the football anymore now than when we were **** and bouncing up and down the divisions so I can fully understand Hull City fans, while being grateful for the financial input, being quite averse to having the actual essense of the club taken away by a rich man playing with his toy.
If you can't comprehend that then you're clearly not what I would perceive of as a proper fan

How about a SCB quiz? Some **** said they enjoyed them the other day, so lets have another.

Let's have a quiz on Tickler's differing opinions.

Below is a list of quotes. Choose an answer for each of them. Only two possible answers " CHAMPIONSHIP" or "PREMIER LEAGUE" as to which league we were in when the quote was made?

"Like with any business, if you dont like how it is being run then dont go and spend your money"

"Ehab being involved at the club has not been good shall i suggest.Who on here has not had a boss that was awful - hopeless or simply a ****ur ?"

"Hull City AFC is now officially a dictatorship. Get used to it lads"

"Here we go again. More anti-Allam crap. Pathetic"

"Ehab should have been the one to get the sack for his lack of football knowledge alone"

"Ehab is that stupid when it comes to football you could be right"

"This action just proves that Ehab Allam does not have a clue."

"I am glad this is now out and we can all see what Ehab Allem actually is"

"EHAB, whilst a nice young man knows nowt about football"

"Ehab Allam OUT OUT OUT. I for one have no faith or trust in his ability to run a football club if our size. end of."

    "Ehab talks alot of sense"

"History will judge the Allams very kindly"

"do we beleave the Allams and what they say ? Time will tell"

"I care less for anything that the Allams spin doctiors come up with anymore"

"The Allams need to grow some balls for starters"

"They wont recover from this fall out and the mood of the players last night"

"Who on earth would want to come to Hull City now ? All the good work of the season gone in less than 2 days."

"do you really think anyone of any quality will want to work for the Allams ? I dont at all "

"Thankfully we have owners who actually know a players true worth"

"Let the owner do what he wants as the club is on the up on the field"

"Like it or not the owners have the right to do what they want."

"The point being that we now know that The Allams are fudging it and telling us porkies"

"Who is calling them ******s ? Just simply calling them clueless when it comes to football matters. They are proving it with there current actions"

"They may be many things but calling them clowns is not really on is it ?"

"The clubs success this season is beyond words and the owners have the right (IMO) to call it what they want."

"As long as the team is a success on the pitch i dont care one way or the other. It is only a name afterall"

"But sadly Ehab Allam looks to be making the same mistakes. Maybe Papa Allam bought Ehab the History of Hull City AFC manual to help him on his way (to destroying the club) from within."

"Ehab has no interest in sport full stop and thats from his own mouth hence why having him involved at all with Hull City has been pure madness"

"IMO, If the Allams go then the club will end up back in league 2 or worse"

"Ehab is not someone who should be let anywhere near a football club for that matter."

"Dad saved the club and can do what he wants. If the customers dont like it then the answer is simple. Dont go"

"I hope they stay as they deserve all the success that SB and the squad are giving us all."

"Allams say they saved Hull City as a gift for the city of Hull. Very nice. So how about now doing the next best thing then by handing it over to us and leaving whilst they can ?"

"Only the braindead actually want Allams to leave btw"

"Agree 100% Now Sadly on the Allams(they have betrayed our trust)"

"do you really think anyone of any quality will want to work for the Allams ? I dont at all "

"I suspect that many of the no voters were not arround during the Fish/Dolan - Hinchcliffe/Buchanan - Lloyd/Wilby years. During those very dark days a name change for what we have now would not have been an issue at all. Some people want it always round."

"95% of the players - staff and fans have no trust in the Allams anymore"

"As DR Allam says, if you dont like it then dont go."

"Both are bonkers and little to choose between the pair"

"When it comes to Ehab nothing should surprise you. But better this happens now than in a few weeks time. imo."

"The Allams have done nothing wrong"

If you get stuck with any, I'll be happy to give clues.

I think OLM was making the point that Pompey didn't own the ground (it was owned by Balram Chanrai's company) so it was in exactly the same position as City....i.e. pretty much free of tangible assets. Raising the money for the ground was a major barrier for the Pompey Supporters Trust to progress. The situation around the formation of Chester FC is probably more akin to the situation which might have developed at City as the ground was leased by the council to the newly formed fans' club so they didn't have to raise masses of capital to get going.
