Maybe 100% for the effort. Not good enough for PL. i agree he was not the worst player overall and he showed some b@@ls. I really thought we had a somehow decent team back in August....
He is out of contract and would doubtless jump at another go in the Prem. Let's see who comes in for him. One of the promoted teams at best I'm guessing. There are plenty of midfielders who try hard and run a lot out there, and some of them can pass as well.
Really? One of the main reasons was having a so-called 'world-class' player in Taarabt who couldn't bother getting off his fat arse to get fit all season. I really don't know why you bother coming on here other than to rub everyone up the wrong way...
The way Taarabt is treating the club is disgraceful. It's not as though he's had a major injury. How long will the club keep paying his wages? Contracts of employment work two ways. In return for pay, the employee has to provide a service.
Two bad eggs .................. could it be, Harry & Hoddle? SWP & Adel? TF & Mittal? ........... or have some of us fans been playing up?
Strongly agree with this! Only listened to CR's post match interview today and, when asked about the bad eggs, he said there were some who 'could have helped us this season'. There is only one who could have helped us this season and that is Adel. I find it incredible he has not been sacked for gross negligence, dereliction of duty, being too fat, being too thin, too petulant - WHATEVER! I hope he goes in the summer. Can't believe I now feel that but I do.
Further to your comments RTID, if the club is serious, if they have learnt from the past & present ............. they will tear up Adel contract and or if need be, pay him out. He must NOT remain at the club to poison what players we have next season. The costs of not getting rid of him is far greater then paying him out. As you say, he should be sacked for gross negligence.
I am not winding up anyone lads. Barton gets top marks from me for effort but if anyone thinks that our best player is Barton then the club is lost If you lil your football huff and puff with no direction or creativity then he is your man and if he stays then he could do a good job for us ... maybe ... he is a poor man's Lee Catermole who cannot stop anyone without fouling them. His positioning is the worse in the our team .... How many times do you see him chasing? nearly every match ... great attitude Yes but no idea ... He is not a playmaker at any level and this season Henry the old veteran showed him how to sit and wait and was by far a better player IMO. CR had severe limited options IMO and he had to play Barton ... he built a team out of complete misfits who were no where good enough collectively. I cannot fault the commitment of the players but they are simply not good enough. We have to start again and that means Barton and co could all go I would like to see a far better player in Barton's position as he cannot clearly focus enough on his game ... if he has one ... Chasing shadows IMO isn't good and he does that most games i watch him ... the shape of the team is often lost because of Barton We always knew we had a fragile defence all of us ... making holes in our team shape cost us most games I would keep Henry for the championship and hope Barton gets a good offer
Tubby, Zarate, Traore, Isla and Vargas are apparently the eggiest. SWP apparently just makes good egg sandwiches to go with the tea.
Easy to see why the dressing room wasn't right when you have the likes of Barton pointing his doigt at all and sundry
Is he part of the rotten omelette? : Zarate fined £80,000 for QPR outburst Posted by Sean Whetstone on May 12, 2015 in Whispers please log in to view this image Relegated QPR have fined on loan Hammer Mauro Zarate two weeks’ wages worth £80,000 for throwing a tantrum before last week’s defeat against Liverpool. The West Ham striker on loan to QPR allegedly stormed out after failing to make the matchday squad at Anfield and returned London on his own. Zarate has managed just 71 minutes in a QPR first team shirt since his early January arrival on loan. He has only managed four second half substitutions for the Hoops against Burnley, Southampton, Sunderland and Hull, three of which resulted in losses. QPR are thought to be picking up his full £40,000 per wages plus a loan fee meaning his loan stint will cost QPR just under one million pounds or around £14,000 for every minute he has spent on the pitch. West Ham tried to bring Zarate back from his ill-fated loan at the end of January when their move for Spurs striker Emmanuel Adebayor fell through at the 11th hour, but were stopped by Premier League rules.
Barton has tweeted that he doesn't blame Taarabt, Vargas, Traore, Isla or Zarate for relegation, as they were not invlved enough to influence events.
