Next weekend I hope we beat you 1-0, don't want your goal difference to diminish. With the Mags and Hull both losing. I want a last day of the Mags and Hull fighting it out.

We will fight you all the way. The way were playing at the minute we are a match for anyone. We played Chelsea off the pitch for 45 minutes.

West Ham, West Brom, Swansea, Burnley, Newcastle and Southampton haven't been able to stop us 2 more very winnable games left. We win that and it would be an incredible end to the season. Never seen a side have such contrast in results like this

It's going to be a tough game, I was just giving my ideal scenario as a Sunderland fan wanting you to stay up. If we beat you 1-0 and Hull and the Mags lose, it means Sunderland are safe and Hull need to beat Man U on the last day to finish above you with you losing to QPR and turning over a 3 goal deficit in the process, a massive massive ask for Hull. Which would virtually ensure that I will either be the mags or Hull who drop final. Just my ideal outcome, I wasn't venturing into form or predictions, just musing on how I'd like it to pan out :)

I don't want any chance of us going down when we play QPR. We can have a party while listening to the drama, sorry you will have to sweat but I think you will just about have enough to survive now. Pulled a rabbit out the hat at the last minute again

**** knows what we pulled out the hat, its certainly miles too big to be a rabbit

Well obviously it's not your ideal scenario. Bit arrogant to assume we'll have to sweat though. We've only been beaten 13 times this season, we've lost 33% of our games this season where as you've lost 52% of yours. I know full well if you want to take three points from us you'll have to graft like ****. Love the false sense of security and arrogance, hope your players have same attitude as you. Form is temporary, we've been constantly very tough to beat all season. I think we can beat you but odds are you've very little chance of taking all 3 points. A draw is the most likely outcome.

One things for certain sunshine is that Pearson would never ever let his group of players be complacent. As for you being "constantly very tough to beat all season" ???? Didn't you take an 8-0 spanking? And another where you were hit for 6?
As for "little chance of us beating you" I beg to differ after seeing us win 6 in the last 7 and seeing your dodgy and lucky win at Everton
You need either a penalty or Defoe to punch the ball in to score but u guess they all count haha

Will be a very big game. You will need defoe on his game. Just think we may have too much pace going forward for you. Hoping for a narrow win, but would take a draw right now.

Can't see us not scoring in fairness. And the way Sunderland's last four goals have come (two penalties, two massive deflections), I think they'll struggle to score. Could be a hat-trick of lucky wins though!

At least one of us has to on final day! Obviously, we'd prefer that were you.

Our side has evolved throughout the season. The team and formation we use now has effective only lost one game, and that was against Chelsea.

Three points would be nice, but we'd be more than happy with a point. We ALWAYS graft like ****.

I don't think any of us feel secure yet. Proud was just saying what he'd LIKE to happen.

Didn't you lose a match 8-0? Not sure where you work those odds out. We've beaten Swansea and Man Utd, both have lost less than you. We've also beaten Southampton and West Ham, who have lost the same. You're low loss record is also less surprising when you consider you have two of your toughest games still remaining. You also neglect to mention that you have the second fewest wins in the league. I agree it will be a draw though. I think we'll both be secret happy with that.

Yep, don't remind me<laugh> I didn't say that consistency means undefeated though, I've already acknowledged we've lost 13. We are prone to collapse if we go 2 behind. Over half the goals we've conceded this season have come when we've conceded 3 or more in a game. Without the thrashings, had we only lost to the odd goal, we'd have conceded 33 this season. The thrashings have made us look worse than we are. Don't know why we fall apart like that now and again because it doesn't represent how tough we are to beat. Just one of those very embarresing things.:p

All I'm saying is the thrashings we've had don't represent how tough we are to beat. Don't take it so personally, Just saying it going to be a tough game, we don't roll over contrary to popular belief. <ok>

Id take a point from both our last games tbh, though QPR got spanked today and they arent going to be in the mood to see a rocking KP.

Hull i see them beating holiday mode Spurs, but i think Man U may still be looking for 3rd on the last day of the season to avoid champ league qualifying.

They shouldn't be in holiday mode, the Europa League race is still wide open.

That said, if Southampton keep playing like they did against us and Sunderland, Spurs have nothing to worry about, so long as Arsenal win the Cup - which I'm sure they'd like to see!

I hear ya fella, it's all good.
Trust me I expect one helol of a battle at a packed SOL and I'd happily take a point right now. It will be a tight affair with very little in it. Thankfully the fact that we both won at the weekend and hull lost has taken the edge of the game a little ...just a little. Probably still more pressure on you taking into accounts your final 2 games, but we shall see.

I'm expecting a cracking match. Tough to call given the circumstances. I'm hoping your final game will lead you to being more relaxed as well as the illusion of us being easy to beat. But I fear you'll have one thing on your mind and that's finish the job and achieve safety. Will be close entertaining game I think.

Theres no easy game unless your playing Newcastle <ok>

Obviously we are very confident at the minute having won 6 out of 7 that we can beat you but it will still be very tough
