Yesterday during a big clear out I found my favourite bit of CAFC memorabilia of all time- I thought I had lost it a few years back during a move, and whilst it might sound silly, the delight in finding it is unbelievable.

During the China tour we managed to find a counterfeit CAFC kit (at that time, the only one I believe) and whilst having to get special permission from the higher ups, the club and coaching staff were allowed to sign it and get a picture of the '04 team posing with it.

It's now being framed today so I'll never lose it again. So my question is:

Do you guys have any CAFC memorabilia that is that bit more special than any other piece you own?

I almost got Jason Euell's shorts once at the end of season lap of honour... They would have looked great on my mantelpiece next to the Royal Family

I do own a Bit of the Old Wembley that's been moulded into a little sculpture thing; I'm sure thousands of people have something similar but it's still rather special

That must be a big mantlepiece to fit the whole Royal Family on it!

I have a signed team photo from 1993/04, presented too all the mugs/people who bought a certain number of shares. A few 'legends' (Curbs, Gritt, Peacock, Rufus, Brown, Nelson, Robinson, Leaburn, Bolder, Walsh, Minto, ahem Pardew.........)

The photo of us taken on the pitch during the presentation is nice too, my only ever experience of walking on the hallowed turf...

Nothing but another nearly story....back in the last promotion from division 3,or league 1 for those watching in color at the final match of the season v Gills I think ...the team gathered in the west stand after the match and threw their shirts to the fans gathered infront.
My idol at the time was Paul Walsh he threw his shirt I grasped it ...and for a milli second I had walshy`s shirt and then...gone as a big bloke behind me snatched it from my grasp,am still gutted about 150 years later...seems that long ago anyway, alot of balls have buldged the net since...o`er misses !

Have an original matchday programme and ticket from the 1947 FA Cup Final win. Bought them and got them framed for the old man for his 60th birthday a few years back.

Also have a programme signed by Colin Walsh from the first game back at The Valley in which he scored the only goal of the game.

when i was just a wee nippa (9 or 10) i remember rocking up to a match (selhurst or upton cant remember) and my boat race was front and centre on the match day programme. had been to the junior reds xmas party and the photo was taken there. my old man bought about 5 copies but now they are all lost...i think it was blackburn home game, in the championship (wasnt called that then...would have been div 1) and obviously just after xmas....at some point i will have to do some backdating and work out the game so i can get another copy...

the piece i still actually have that i most like is the badge that was produced for the portsmouth game 5th dec 1992.

I thought Omar Pouso was a state of mind, not an actual player?

Whilst I have a signed shirt from my hero Sir Richard Rufus, I have a special place in my heart for my Semedo memorabilia, I used to work on a (now gone) mugs and memorabilia stall in Bluewater and often I would see Charlton players in the centre and got quite chatty with a few, namely Mig, Youga & Yassin, but just after having signed for us Jose was just looking at some pictures of Zola and I embarrassed said, "I'm sorry, you look a lot like Jose Semedo?", the best bit was his wife/girlfriend was so impressed he'd been spotted in England, whilst he was pretty quiet about it, but I had nothing with me for him to sign, so I picked up one of the mugs I was selling had him sign that and then I had to pay for the mug I'd just taken from stick.

Varney & Ambrose never said anything....boo

Hope you gave Yassin a plain mug, and told him to read in to it what he will!

He was a really nice guy and always open about things, as is Mr Youga, very open about it all. Was not keen on Mr Parkinson whatsoever, he threw his weight around a bit too much, squared up to a few players on the training pitch. So it's a tough read all of the surrounding stuff. Always had time, would always stop and chat, same at away games, always pop over. So sad to say Yassin's public character doesn't match what he's made out to be whatsoever. Brought his mum over a lot as well, big family man, similar to Therry Racon.

Evening guys. I saw this post earlier at work but couldn't respond due to restrictions. I am fascinated by some of the memorabilia that we Addicks fans have. I have the war cup final programme versus Chelsea 44/45, plus the 46/47 & 47/48 cup final progs. I have the shirt as worn by Colin Walsh in the FA cup 4th rd match at Old trafford, the one where Schmeichel got sent off, Leaburn scores and we end up losing 4-1 thanks to a Mark Hughes hat trick. I also have a framed Charlton shirt from the 04/05 season signed by the squad and finally a framed FA cup final medal and club shirt badge.......however as I only paid £75 at an auction back in 2000 I don't expect this to be authentic. Am I sad......maybe........but what I am is an Addick through and through.
