just looking at Austin line up for QPR! Well that was a mistake by someone here, then we have the problems with jelly & diame who both had to succumb to operations gets me thinking wtf we're paying them for?
No one made a mistake, they gave their professional opinion and the club used it to make an informed decision. What then happens in games is completely out of their control, it only takes one bad tackle to injure even the fittest player.
So we have a phantom knee problem! Then we have two players rushed back then going under the knife! I was directing my frustration at them two really! But if the medical set up is the best we can afford it's what it is I suppose?
We only look at what happens in this team, the fact is injuries are effecting every team in the league week in week out. Blaming medical staff is ridiculous. I mean Elmo has played every single game for two seasons. They've done a good job with him.
The medical staff don't decide when a player comes back, it's down to the manager and the player in question. They give their recommendations but ultimately the decision is out of their hands.
You can't pick a player out who hasn't had an injury! I'm saying their record with knees is very poor!
Apparently, there is a lot of bad calcium in the water around East Yorkshire. You know the water tastes like crap. And this can cause weak knees. My knees are weak. Don't blame the team. Blame nature
Certain, the final decision is always with the player and manager. Obviously most of the time they go along with the medical staff, after all they are the experts. But every weekend there's plenty of players on the field against the advice of the medical staff.
So on Both occasions they've said jelly & diame are ok to play? Well doesn't that confirm their incompetence?
Have you completely missed the point? The medical staff could have advised against playing Jelavic or Diame, but the player and/or manager could have decided to play anyway. Just because they we're on the pitch doesn't mean the medical staff said they we're 100%.
Tend to agree with you on this, I have a suspicion that city knew Diame had a knee problem when he arrived, but due to the lack of cover in the midfield decided to take a gamble on it, which back fired
Ok time will tell when another player suffers a knee problem! I'd like to see if any other team has rushed a player back this season and had to eventually have him go under the knife?
wasn't it Paul McGrath that should never have been on a football pitch his knee's were that bad he could not train Monday to Friday.
I see QPR going down today. Funny how according to some, if we'd have signed him, he would have scored the goals we needed to keep up, yet he couldn't do it for them.
