I think you are right on that one. Read newbie34 in HDM. He goes to be entertained and will cheer the team when they give him something to cheer. Far too many like him. Proper football crowds get behind the team and create an atmosphere before the game even starts. We have far too many PL spectators as opposed to City supporters.
How can expressing the fact you will be a City fan for the rest of your days lead to an argument? Do people think that is something wrong?
Apparently three fans were ejected from West Stand for unfurling an Allam Out banner and so called fans applauded the stewards.
The whole club is rotten and divided from the top, within the club and now right down to the fans. Whoever you blame, it is no recipe for success and doesn't make for a positive matchday experience. Whatever side of the Allam argument you are on, it is sad to see long-standing fans of the same team berating each other and plenty of others, who have supported the club for decades, deciding to chuck it all in as they've had enough. This was going to be our most successful time ever as a football club, and it's been slowly poisoned from within......'typical City'
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32677056 Briucie claims the anti Allam singing affects the team - then he comes out with this 'rallying call' - he's a ****ing idiot
Ive found the division in our support so depressing this season. We are supporting under a dark cloud which could have been blown away by our owners. As our whole support fell silent, stunned by the lack of fight from the team against a **** relegated Burnley I just admired the unity of the whole Burnley club, a club I normally hate, manager, players and vocal support going down together in unity with their premier league plunder in the bank singing no one likes us we don't care. What the **** happened to my club?
I said it was West Stand. I didn't see it but that's what I was told just after it happened. It could have been N1 as its in the corner of North and West.
Didn't realise it was Burnleys first win in 7 games and their 1st goal in more than 10 hours. We should have wiped the floor with them.
More like his negative/cautious tactics. My personal take on the debate is, pro allam people think his brass is the lifeblood of the club and are only interested in Pl football. I however, think the man is a cancer and should be removed asap. Sell to the highest bidder, we'll suffer the consequences. Who knows the next owner may just care
My feelings too. We are not 'united' because of one person. Perhaps the footballing gods (FA) are meting out their punishment in the most spectacular way possible. Much better than a press statement.
