You could be on to something there. Maybe if we added Rhodes and Deeney just to make sure.

I can see Dawson being here more than I can see Chester. Dawson is like our version of Richard Dunne last season - you wouldn't have expected to see him in the Championship, but then you realise his age and mobility aren't that attractive to potential buyers in the Premier League.

If there really is beef between Bruce and Davies, they both need to stop sulking, get their heads out their arses and look to build for next year.
A central defensive 3 of Dawson, Davies and McShane would be great in the Championship.

I'd hope Chester would give us half a season, but at the right price we'd probably sell sadly.

Hahaha, loving the sarcasm. There's a few in for a rude awakening judging by some of the comments on here. Most of your side are established PL players and most will head for the exit at the prospect of a wage drop and Championship football.

    Like they did at Norwich?

If we have managed it well as expected, parachute payments will help keep some around.

Norwich managed to convince most of their players to give them another season to get back up, so yeah they're the exception I suppose. Not sure if they had a salary reduction in the players contracts though

Jelavic will go and with my best wishes.
    N'Doye goes
    Hernandez goes .
    Davies goes.
    Harper retires.
    McGregor goes.
Robbo goes if we get an offer. I'd keep him but we may get an offer.
    Huddlestone goes.
Livermore goes. Lets see if sherwood does come in for him.
    Diame goes, if fit...
Aluko goes if we can get rid.

I would keep everyone else but any good offers come in and they should be taken.

We need to rebuild now. Look at formations for one thing. Sign some promising young FAST forwards.

As you'll note with most of the realistic teams we're aware that most of our 'big' players will leave. Leaving the core of players that got us promoted last time.

I think everyone's forgetting how good Aluko was in the championship, he's one to keep.

Robbo will get an offer, but not the sort of money everyone has been fornicating about. £4m will probably see him off which would be a huge shame. Depends on the shape of the finances.

Chester will be a real shame to lose, excluding strikers, he'll be the toughest to replace. A real classy and consistent player.

The strikers I think Bruce will pull all the stops to keep. We know just how hard it is to find strikers capable of playing in the premier league.

If the finances are healthy as reported we're not going to go on a fire sale selling 10+ players. It's just not going to happen unless we're offered silly money for them.

Really hedging on Allam wanting to get us right back up and throwing money at players to keep them.

Your assuming there is anyone willing to sign them.

Huddlestone and Livermore showed no fight or passion, no relegation threatened team would want them.
    Diame is a sick note.
Robbo is poor defensively but has potential.
Elmo is too hit and miss.
Dawson looked good, but his age is probably against him.
Bruce/McShane/Meyler/Aluko/Quinn//Brady are good Championship players at best.
    Hernandez is useless.
N'Doye might attract a few bids from the newly promoted clubs.
Both goalkeepers are not top flight material.
Jelavic is probably the only one which will generate significant interest and he will leave with my best wishes.

It's exactly what he'll do, with that cash pot of £100m or so on offer from 2016, whether he hates the fans and community or not. If our finances are in the state reported, we have to be favourites for getting promoted straight back.

I think there'd be takers for most of them.

Diame, Dawson, Elmo, Jelavic, Hernandez, Robertson and Huddlestone would all find homes in the top flight or abroad imo.

You've no ****ing idea tobes you've never been relegated. If your presumptions were accurate there's never be cases such as Leeds, Forest, Wednesday, Portsmouth, ourselves etc.

There's only Dawson from that list I'd be disappointed about.

I'd like to keep Jelavic but he deserves better.

Still I'd be surprised if all of those are gone by the time we kick off the new season.

Realistically if you were one of our 'championship grafters' - Rosie, Meyler, Quinn etc. Would you really want to graft your way back into the Premier League to know you're more than likely going to sit on the bench for a lot of games?
