As a Burnley fan, I take no real pleasure from today's victory and, at least, the Tigers still have a chance to save themselves.

But I would jump at the chance of having the Allams as owners of the Clarets rather than the incompetent, penny-pinching group of directors who have failed to give the magnificent Sean Dyche (our best manager since the 1960s - Harry Potts) any proper backing.

With the Allams backing Dyche, Burnley could be a mid-table PL club and if Hull had Dyche as manager, you would probably be about 9th/10th - Stoke or West Ham position.

I live in East Yorkshire (Howden) and genuinely think you can win at Spurs next week - if Leicester's amazing run of luck holds (like us gifting them a winner 60 seconds after we missed a penalty), they will get a result at Sunderland and you can finish above the Black Cats.......somehow I cannot see West Ham winning at Newcastle on the final day.....but you never know.

That's ****ing stupid. Everyone has been impressed with your attempts this season on a limited budget. We've thrown money at it and got worse. But that's not even the problem with the Allams. The problem is their overall running of the club which is turning people away completely. Our crowds are gonna be ****e next season.

I hope Allam stays he has been good for the club, cannot say some people have been the same and the crowds won't be poor next season either.

He has done a lot of good for this club and for the area, obviously some don't agree but then again it's rare to have 100% support we are not down yet either the season is not over it will be difficult but the 2 games still to play may give us the results we need.

Everyone seems to think they know better but it is his money whether it is a loan or not that got us into the premiership and could still keep us in it,if not it could still be his money that brings us back here again if we are relegated.

Obviously the club would benefit more with everyone on the same team but that will not happen because some do not agree with others on certain points some people have had an impact on the team even if they do not think they have.

You only have to look at a few teams around us who were in trouble to see what effect a positive feeling can do for a club and that we do not have.

I was not there, I managed to get home in time to watch a stream (on a big screen) from about 12mins in; so I will not knock folk who felt they had to leave early and 81mins is early. We were only 1-0 down and we were piling the pressure on and were just about camped in their box, never mind their half, so I am baffled why anyone who didn't have to, would feel the urge to walk out. Maybe they thought it would change our luck, who knows, except them? Each to their own.

I'm expecting season ticket sales to be down by at least 3,000, partly because people are fed up being treated disgracefully and partly because the Premier League fans that got on board this season will be gone again. They could even be down by as much as a third, everyone has their limits and many have now reached them.

I think the Allams factored that in to the price increases. There'd be minimal overall loss of income from ticket sales at that.

I can see what you are saying but even in the lower leagues we were having good crowds,if we do go down i would think the board would try very hard to get us back up again, hence the fans still going to the games.

I understand also about the name change but i also think the Allams will not just sell up he will want to prove his points that is why he is where he is today turning against the owners will only fuel his need to persist if he does not get this one he will do something else.

The team and club need every man and his dog behind them in the last 2 games if people want Allam out surely the best way is to shout the team on so we survive and then maybe he will get a buyer for the club ,to me all that is happening at this time is the team is being effected and any potential buyer is maybe having second thoughts.

I don't think there will be a price increase.

I don't think he has been good for the club. He burnt his bridges with the Council. We have had a fairly gentile, up to now, civil war over the name of the club that's lasted two years and isn't over, he dragged our name through the mud when he evicted hundreds of local people from the Airco, we owe something like £20 million in unpaid transfer fees which we will do well to recoup if we go down and fans have started fighting amongst themselves.

Yes he lent us the money to get promoted and to an FA Cup final, but the fat lady hasn't sang the end of his reign as the owner of Hull City. Lets see what we are left with when he finally sells. A good custodian of a football club leaves it in a stronger position and to owners that will take it forward. We'll see if we get that.

This seems like a good thread to bring up 'blue waffle'. Anyone heard of it? It looks delicious, I'd love to eat it.

    Google image it.

I have admitted to leaving a couple of minutes early in the past depending on the score. Never in a tight game, When i lived in Cambridge I was still a season pass holder. If the game was secure or we had no way of coming back from defeat, Me leaving a couple of minutes from the end could save me half an hour and more on my drive back to Cambridge. mainly on a night game.

You can take my reasons as legit or not. Does this make me not a true supporter? Over a 300 mile round trip. A none true supporter simply would not do this.

You'd soon turn against him when he puts in name change proposal to shorten your name to Burnley Dingles or tell you you're hooligans who can die when you want or steals community assets or puts your ticket prices up to nearly 700 nicker for the season or up to 50 a game or threatens to walk away each time it looks like he won't get his own way or after promising not to change the club's crest without consulting the supporters does just that, removing all mention of your club's name in the process.

On a plus side he'll tell anybody who'll listen how he fled to this country to get away from a dictator & a country without democracy.

Sadly I can't see him wanting to sell to anyone who might achieve the trick of being successful and making long standing fans feel valued. In fact I can't see him selling at all...we'll see
Good to finally get to know who you ( and Mrs O?) are yesterday by the way. Hopefully we'll all be celebrating together thrashing Man U to stay up soon !

Any fans that left the Etihad and Emirates early probably think we are already safe (although I doubt anyone did leave those games early).

300 miles round trip is a hell of a trip my friend!
I'm not trying to stoke the "true supporter" debate again - it just baffles me as to why so many fans decide to up sticks early when the team desperately need them.
