I have to disagree with some of the comments on here.

The players should not be 'on their holidays' no matter what the game is or who it is against. This is a slump that I find really difficult to take. If you look at the team's around us and their results and the games we have dropped points in - with a bit more application we could still be challenging for the Champion's League, let alone the Thursday Night League, which we are now relying on other team's results for.

Notwishstanding that I hate both of the European competitions.

As for me I'm not even going to bother watching (Illegally) the last two games or looking out for the results - the season is over and clearly the team has stopped bothering about it so why should I?

Remember today was a game that Koeman was looking for a response from the players after being very angry about last week's result - he must be frikkin' fuming now. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The worst part of the second goal really, was that after the sliced clearance bounced off someone's head,Clyne was in the best position to chase it down. The Leicester player was behind and outside Clyne and ran all the way around him on the outside ( the long way) to receive the ball in front and semi-inside of him. I didn't see that until I rewatched it.

It was Davis. Mahrez dribbled past him going left, then cut back and beat him again the other way.

Just watched the game on telly and I was also at the game earlier so don't ask me why I put myself through it again, but what really irritates me is that JP describes a tackle by Vic as rudimentary which is utter crap as he was there first

I swore I wouldn't suggest it, but I can't help but feel that we would have at least a few more points if Forster had stayed fit. We may still have lost form, but our defence would have been just a bit more solid and confidence would have remained high. This is especially annoying when others are dropping points as well...5th was easily attainable.

I've been at a wedding all day, but I see the game went pretty much as I predicted. Just as I always saw a Sunderland win last weekend, I always saw a Leicester win today. Staying in the league is simply a much bigger incentive than getting into the EL. Throw in our injuries, our poor form, our no doubt disappointment at blowing top four, and great form of the opposition in the case of Leicester, and we were never getting anything out of these two games.

That said, both goals were painful viewing. Davis with the first (god I am really starting to dislike him), and the CBs with the second (mainly Toby I guess).

We may yet finish 6th. We may yet finish 8th. But most likely the season will finish just in time and we'll finish 7th, just as it has looked for some weeks now. Whether or not that gets us into EL lies largely in the hands of a certain Frenchman.

It isn't just Forster himself, but the defence in front of him: they played better with him there.

Gazzaniga made the error for the 2nd goal with a dreadful kick, but Toby and Fonte were terrible in that first half too, and Vardy had them on toast.

We weren't good enough, again. I don't know why, but we didn't want it enough, and were very disappointing.

A great season is slowly turning into a good one.

No it happened to both of them, after Davis initially tries to tackle Mahrez Reed does indeed try to back-up Davis (he clearly tracks the ball the whole way and never thinks Davis has come away with it) but gets completely sold thinking Mahrez is about to either continue to his left or lay a pass back, when he in fact cuts to his right Reed's momentum takes him a couple steps in the wrong direction at which point instead of pivoting hard and sprinting back to the ball he skips into a jog and doesn't get back leaving Davis in a 1v1 he should never be placed in.

Here's a video: http://streamable.com/cmli (Warning: not for anyone who doesn't want to relive past misery).

If that was the case, I wish they would tell us so we could save our money and time and not turn up like the players. Then we could save up for next seasons higher priced tickets and get more "Brownie Points" with the Good Lady

Thanks. I have seen it now. I thought it was Davis at the time, but as I said several people told me it was Reed. I've seen it now and there is no doubt Davis is to blame for that first goal. You can't pull out of a tackle.

Maybe Mikey, but a premier league player deserves to be roasted and put in the stocks for pulling out of a tackle against a powerhouse like Wes Morgan... Oh no, it was the frail and flimsy Mahrez. That play should never have got further than Davis putting in a proper tackle in the first place. All the other stuff was ifs and buts and maybes. A simple block tackle kills it all and even if Davis doesn't win that tackle, a strong attempt means the ball pings off somewhere else, not at the players feet.

This is what I believe too and it can't be measured or have stats to back it up. I felt for Gazza yesterday as I thought he did ok apart from the sliced clearance (people moaning about the clearance for the other goal is nuts; he cleared it. Who'd have moaned if he tried his wrong foot or had a touch and ballsed it up?) but from the moment he sliced that clearance, Gonte and Toby stopped passing back to him in that first half.

What an appalling attitude. I was fed up yesterday and don't usually moan about the team, but yesterday I did.

I'll still be watching games, attending (when I can) and absolutely will be looking out for the results.

I will always care about my team. I suppose I am just a different type of supporter than you.

The very lovely Mrs Godders has washed and ironed 37 baskets of laundry, cleaned 19 peoples' houses and stood on the corner in Empress Road with the ladies of the night for a fortnight and we now have enough money to buy two season tickets and there is a little bit left over for a couple of tickets for cup games.

TBF, Shepherd is doing what we are all doing...protecting himself from pain and licking his wounds. I have to watch the next game as I have a ticket and I will hope we can perform better against City. My expectations have dropped somewhat recently, so things don't hurt as much...but missing out on a Europa place will hurt after the season we've had. Let's hope Swansea lose today.

Are you a supporter or not? I'm pissed off, but I'm still going next Saturday for our last home game - to show my appreciation for a great season. You support your club through thick and thin (and to be honest, it's pretty thick at the moment). The last 2 games have been bitterly disappointing granted, but we've been spoiled this season on the whole: a record win, winning at Old Trafford, beating Arsenal twice, not losing against the Champions. My main disappointment is not beating Liverpool or Spurs. :(
