Although we do have 130 m to spend, I have a suspicion Jose is only after 3 players, but not a clue who they are. 1. A striker 2. A controlling/attacking midfielder 3. A young and quick attacking minded CD. I guess that's 130 m right there, but we will lose a few as well. Oscar and Obi Mikel look outward bound, Drogs to the trainers' school, Remy and Cech to pastures greener. Not a bad position to be in.

A topic about being able to spend 130 million turns into a Man United one. But its understandable as we have overachieved this season as we were suppose to finish midtable and wouldn't get European football for years to come. Don't worry it looks like we will be buying the worlds top talent yet again, not bad for a team who can't attract the worlds best no more right?????
When you say you 'over achieved' can you explain when winning absolutely fcuk all became an achievement of any sort? I don't personally recall any Chelsea fans saying you would 'finish mid table', that 'you wouldn't get European football for years to come', or that you wouldn't be able to 'attract the worlds best players no more'. Is this a figment of your imagination? I have no doubt whatsoever that if you spend maybe another billion or so on tall players like and pin point punters then you will likely make up a few of the 15 points you currently stand behind the Champions provided we stagnate and don't add to our squad.......... unless of course De Gea moves off to Madrid because if it wasn't for him the gap would be closer to 30. Exciting times for United and the tactical genuis LVG. Did you hear him yesterday stating that he was very upset that the opposition was stopping Manchester United from playing the type of game he wants to? Perhaps we should just remove all opposing teams vs United, let them play on their own so the genius can implement his tactics without anyone getting in the way?

No one here said anything of the sort ('Cept maybe London's Only, but he says a lot of things ) And I would like to echo BITKOSB's question on how finishing 4th with the most expensive squad in PL history is overachieving? Would also like to point out, that should United finish 4th, because they missed a whole season of Europe, they may not be seeded in the CL qualifiers and will most likely face Napoli or Monaco or someone of that ilk in the qualifiers.....I would not take it for granted that you are sliding straight in the CL.
Agreed. The so-called biggest club in the world are happy to be top 4 and are by no means guaranteed to qualify for the group stages.
