Were you awful or unlucky?

We were both. We hit the woodwork a couple of times but the defeat seemed inevitable as the match progressed.

Given what was at stake, it was the worst time to play Burnley. They have beaten us 9 times out of the last 10. The definition of a bogey team.

Half the players were awful, that was enough, luck has nothing to do with it
You've let the entire league down you set of ****s

A win and the Toon would have been staring down the barrel.

Here's hoping United are on the beach on the last day <ok>

Perhaps you could do with a NP at the helm...
Tho both managers were centre backs
Brucey was better !
Managerially ?
Despite my obvious allegiance to NP & my club you gotta admit
NP edges it ?

I'd rather have the Brazilian World Cup result predicting octopus in charge than Nigel Pearson.

Keeping a squad full of PL players on PL wages in the Championship?

You really are ****ing clueless

One time, you should try to keep your flapping gob shut and keep your unininformed, presumtuous rabble to yourself before removing all doubt that you really are ****ing clueless.

You seems to up your game when you play top clubs. United is your last game I wonder if you are going to do them
a favour or they do you a favour.

A lot rests on who we can persuade to stay. To be honest Huddlestone and Livermore, however **** they've been this season, might be great in the championship as they will outclass most of the midfields in the league. If their wages are halved it shouldn't be too much of a problem to keep them for a year and even if they want to jump ship who would want them after this season? Players like Chester and Robertson will be the key ones, surely people will try to take them away, it's just whether we can persuade them to stick around for a year. If we can keep anything like the team we have we should walk the championship, look at what Leicester did last year.

Allegedly... relegation clauses in their contracts will see them take a 50% salary drop. You wouldn't think it was the case though if you saw our performance today.
Unfortunately relegation clauses these days are'nt worth the paper they are written on. Every one of them will have an agent getting them a new club within days of relegation. Its not just your club, its all of them. All 3 teams that go down will lose at least half their players in the pre-season

Who will want our big earners though as they've obviously underperformed massively? The only ones I'm really worried about are our younger players like Robertson/Brady etc.

If we go down, Sherwood will take thudd and Livermore and watch how quickly they suddenly start playing for "the badge" again.

Wanna buy any? You can have Alex Bruce and Paul Mcshane for 15 bags a week each?
