Im guessing Reading still wanted us to pay a large portion of his wages
Cullen needs to go and prove himself or leave

When Mcshane scored that twist back header at Anfield, he has made it

in my opinion he was by far the worst player we had last season, although he does seem to be getting a good bit of championship interest

McShane is Championship standard at right back and probably League 1 standard as a centre back. If he was on 5k a week he wouldn't get half as much criticism as he does!

I suspect Reading asked us to pay at least half McShane's wages, that's why it's been rejected.

Cullen going out on loan is no surprise, I expect Cairney to be next.

If he was on 5k a week he would be on his way to Reading now.

Cairney is unlikely to go to Doncaster unless we subsidise the deal.
If Hull City are not prepared to do this anymore then we will be stuck with all the deadwood.
I don't see Cairney as deadwood to be fair.

From the snippet of Adam on Rh we aren't signing anymore permanent signing....so all the ayala talk was wishful thinking unless he comes on loan and he said mcshane is important to us as cover across the back. I suppose if they buy him we could buy a replacement and his comments about then getting loads of cash for mills suggests he told em its a permanent purchase or nothing.

I think so but David Brown was a striker when he was at Man Utd but when he came to us that didn't work out too well! Maybe he'd have been a decent right back as well!

    This.

Good move for Cullen. Probably wouldn't even have played in our cup games. I hope has a good season and comes back a better player. Cairney needs to go to another championship club.

Ayala is now on his last year at Liverpool so a loan is unlikely(but not 100% out of the question).

looks like we're getting the keepers sorted on the quiet, so for me Ayala would be the iceing on the cake, if not McShane will be back-up at CB/RB.

We need to start getting shot of the likes of Mcshane, I agree with the comments that 5k a week probably people wouldn't be that desperate to get rid of him, but he's taking the wages of two or three new signings.

I would never of thought people would be interested in a kamikaze defender like him .Would be great to get him off the wage bill.
