One of two things need to happen next week: 1) Give some of the youngsters a run out. 2) Give the first team a good kick up the arse. The last two games have been utter-shambles. I wouldn't say it's down to poor form, as we produced a good performance against Spurs not 3 games ago. Expecting something else next week. We're in a battle for Europa and it feels like we're playing end-of-season dead rubber.
What an absolute crock of ****. We need someone better than Steven Davis in the number 10, Elia can **** off back to Germany and we badly need Clasie to replace Morgan.
Beefy, l was really trying to be positive and you have called me out and l have to agree he will cause us alot of problems!
Just out of interest what's the difference in goals per game conceded form before and after Forster was injured. We will be lucky if The swans don't catch us now.
Morgan is such a vital cog in midfield. We are soo much weaker when he is not playing. Hopefully whoever we get can fill his boots
I thought Reed and Wanyama were both pretty good today. It was just about everyone else who was crap.
Defensively maybe, but we need someone in there who will dictate the game. Morgan does that, and Clasie would do the same.
Davis Clyne Fonte Alderweireld Bertrand Wanyama Reed Prowse(is he back?) If not Hesketh Mane Pelle Sims
I'd start hesketh over Davis next week, just to see if he can offer anything more. Djuricic doesn't seem to offer anything at all tbh
I'm just saying that Schneiderlin being out is not an excuse for today's performance. The defensive midfield was the only non-sucky part of the team today. And as much as I like Schneiderlin, this isn't the first time we've struggled to break down an organized defense.
