This reminds me of a South-Park episode where both teams are trying to lose so they don't have to play in a trophy tournament.
To the extent that Huth is simply walking around him to collect passes into his feet. Mane's the only player who has demonstrated any desire to get into the box/play balls into dangerous areas, and they've often been wayward.
Long would actually have been a better matchup against Huth with his pace and ability to pull defenders out of position...
For Villa: Gazzaniga, Clyne, Fonte, Toby, Targett. Wanyama, Reed. Sims/McQueen/Random Adolescent, Long, Mane. Gallagher. Because really, could it be worse.
Long is a better option than Pelle in every scenario. Which isn't exactly a great endorsement of our strikers
For real. Pelle was isolated in the first half so that wasn't really his fault, but his effort in the second half has been awful. Especially when he just stood there and offered no resistance to Huth. That was ridiculous.
I have been stuck in traffic for 5 hours. And to be honest I've probably had a better day then you lot.
As bad as that was, there are some positives to take away. Namely, the fact that it's over and we can now forget that it happened.
Well that was balls, no doubt, but I was really impressed by Leicester actually. Incredibly well organised, never lost shape and fought like buggers. Carry on like that they're definitely staying up, especially with that crowd. Hats off. On our part, Mane vaguely threatened as ever, Toby looked a level above the others as ever, and Reed harried well, as ever. The rest were deeply meh though.
