Yep, I think Defoe has to go off, he has been miles away from Baines all game and is a major weakness down our right handside, he doesn't look happy to be there today...I think we need to change soemthing anyway, time for Advocaat to earn his money...
Wick ham is better at the back than Defoe undoubtedly but Defoe is a better goal scorer although was poor last week! Why aren't the BT lads managing us. They all apparently know more than Dick according to them!

We can't keep punting it forward. We lose it every time. We need width, direct pace down the flanks. Swap Gomez for Vergini and push PVA and Jones into attacking wing back positions making three at the back With Catts and Seb sat in front. Bring the front three closer together Putting DG just behind Conner and Defoe and get them some service from the wingbacks. Or something else? I don't know, we're **** which narrows our options. :/
More of the same will not work. Agree with BT coms, Defor is not a full back and We need something else in the middle. Is AJ on the bench?
