So it all comes down to today. Lose and we are all but relegated. We'll win. We have better players, a better manager and we bloody better want it more than they do. That was all the difference last time when we lost. Thought we could turn up and be given the points.

    Harper
    Chester Dawson Macca
    Elmo Brady
    Jake Meyler Quinn
    N'Doye Jelavic

I'm dropping Tom rather than Jake but it could be either. He was hauled off after 51 minutes against these cos he was billy big bollocks last time. After Monday i wouldnt give him this chance. Jake "maybe" had an injury on Monday. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and anyway his workrates better.
We're going to have to scrap for everything today, you've got to fight to beat these.

    3-1 City.

    Lets relegate these today

    Come on City.

Shouldn't this be merged with the first one? http://www.not606.com/threads/hull-v-burnley.300298/

    :bandit:

I'd drop Tom too. Id also give Macca a kick up the arse, along with Daws and Livermore.

Er just noticed, yeah, I'd go with your choices there Chazz.

    5-0 The Tigers.

    Tom to play.

Tom to score with 30 yard scorcher.

2 exquisite through balls from Tom for N'Doye to score.

One dead ball from Tom dropped perfectly for a Dawson header.

One rifled 40 yard cross-field ball, delivered with the upmost accuracy from Tom to Brady for the fifth goal.

    Or play Jake instead.

    I'm not fussed.

I'd expect Tom to start ahead of Livermore, just because he hasn't trained all week and Bruce will definitely want him to start against Spurs.

It'll have my full support whatever side Brucey puts out. That would be nice to see Ernie. He has the talent to do all of that, so whats missing?

He tends to play too deep.

And most teams have players who close him down very quickly when he gets on the ball.

Maybe Brucy could write to other managers and ask them to ask their players to stop bullying 'lil Thomas?

2-1 City in a tense, low quality match.

Five of the last six league meetings between Hull City and Burnley have ended with a 1-0 scoreline.

Burnley have won their last four away trips to play the Tigers at the KC Stadium.

Just seven players have scored a goal for Burnley in the Premier League this season; a lower spread than at any other club.

Ahmed Elmohamady has started every single one of Hull’s 73 Premier League games since their re-promotion to the top-flight – more than any other player in the competition since the start of 2013-14.

Hull City have never won a Premier League game in the month of May (W0 D3 L7).

The Tigers have averaged just 15 touches per game in the opposition box this season; a league-low.

Burnley have not scored a Premier League goal in nine hours and 29 minutes.
Hull City have conceded a league-high 13 goals from outside the box in 2014-15.

    Stats are bollocks anyway :emoticon-0107-sweat

The first stat is hilariously pointless.

The second reflects the fact that crosses are about the only way we get balls into the box, and if they aren't good enough the ball just gets cleared anyway. Huddlestone and Livermore pass sideways or to the wing.

Boydie.... You will get a good reception when your name is called out today.
Just remember that before you think about choosing today of all days to stick in your one hundredth career goal in the back of our net you jessie-haired spitting blind ****.

I think you will see Meyler in for Livermore, and Jelavic in for Aluko, other than that same team.

I'd go with Chazz's team if it's 3-5-2, which realistically it will be. But I wish we'd play a more attacking setup and really go at teams sometimes.

    Something like
    Elmo Chester Dawson Robertson
    Meyler Quinn
    Aluko Ramirez Brady
    N'Doye/Jelavic

It's only one up front but you've got a few attacking players there rather than the maximum of 2 we normally play with.

I'm bringing my two daughters today 7 and 9. One because I knew it would be warmer today not middle of winter but I thought we would either be safe or down. Now it's pretty much the most important game ever I'm not sure they are going to like the nervous, frustrated, annoyed, ecstatic ,cheering, shouting total looney side of their father they are likely to witness today! Plus when gypo George scores the winner in the 90 th minute they can forget the Mc Donald's on the way home and the film tonight:emoticon-0127-lipss

    I would go...

    Harper
    Rosie Chester Dawson Brady
    Elmo Meyler Ramirez Quinn
    N'Doye Jelavic

If Jelly or Rosie not fit, replace with Macca/Hernandez
