PLENTY ROOM in Eritrea, Somalia, Zimbabwe, Bulgaria Roomania..... hope your degree includes a licenced XM307 ACSW Machine Gun, if you do migrate...

Inver its not a minority ... keep up! ;)
331 seats, so on paper advantage is 12 clear
SF do not take their seats so advantage is 16
    DUP invariably follow the Conservatives
Lib dems will follow certain whips as they have been instrumental in getting certain things adopted

    So minority....NO

Labour screw up? ...YES ... BIG time, Brown going to the referendum alienated a lot of Labour voters ... and have now reaped the seeds they sowed...

PS Scotland has half my roots!

    Politics

They spend 6 months before election telling you what you want to hear then 4 and half years going back on it.

What I wanted was a hung parliament, so both the smug pricks stepped down.

I I thought the Tories only avoided a hung parliament by a couple of seats. Those 50 extra would have made Labour able to form a coalition?

The imbalance between votes and seats has been my main reason for voting Lib Dem all these years until now - PR is the only fair way to decide your government - not the first past the post bollox.
Neither the labour or Tories would allow that though - its how they have kept power all these years and one of the few things they agree on.

A hung parliament would have meant we went through it all over again before Christmas

At least a decisive result means no more "empty promises" for another 5 years!!

Cameron is in a very powerful short-term position - however issues such as Scotland and Europe will cause him problems

There - that's my one and only post about politics

Scotland can go and do one. They need us a lot more than we need them.

Lets see how long they'd survive with their own currency and not being under the protective blanket of the UK. It would be Greece MK 2 in no time.

'I thought the Tories only avoided a hung parliament by a couple of seats. Those 50 extra would have made Labour able to form a coalition?'

    R&W
Whichever way you 'cook' it the total number of seats for Labour and SNP is 288.
With the other Lefty parties they still come up short by 20plus seats.
Think Cameron will have more problems with his 'backbenchers' than the Left.

RODney - Designing concrete - Suppose somebody has to do it.
