Dead right Shako, remember the film, White men can't jump, can you imagine the fury if there was a film called Black men can't swim, or Black men won't work, ........ both true btw
Evening lads, Don't get me started on this!!! You can call someone from australia an aussie, But someone from pakistan you can't call a p....
Evening Este, just opened me first cider. I was in a cab with my sons and their mates da in Leeds. He called the driver a p***** and the driver called him a paddy, there was no malice in it, just banter, but those incidents are few and far between.
True, but some people can take it,I get called guiri all the time,a spanish insult for foreigner,I couldn't give a toss. Your lads mates 'da' I remember one of your lads calling you that and his mot saying its dad over here, And says yer I know, But da........ Was funny as. Had a few tinnies allready I reckon a few more are in order.
It's the same when I asked for a sambo(sandwich) or when we say ma (mum) we are just too lazy to say the full word.......
Absolutely spot on Olof. Remember the film "gone in 60 seconds" with Nicolas Cage and our very own Vinny Jones? There was a scene near beginning where the blackman was teaching an asian girl to drive, and he said "black men don't swim, so I keep my black ass out the pool" I laughed hysterically at that line.
The thing that kills me is that many 'black' people are actually brown - and many 'brown' people - South Americans, people around the med etc. are actually blacker than a significant number of the 'blacks'. But the attitude doesn't transfer with the colour!
