You seem very sure it's one of these two clubs. I've asked you before, how are you ITK? Clubs like Malaga (massive Arab backing now) and Real, Barcelona, Inter, Bayern etc. could get him, for the right price.
None of these clubs will make a bid. Modric will only move to Man utd or Chelsea if they make big enough bids.

Without trying to wind anybody up, why the hell is anybody surprised he wants to join Chelsea, Much more succesful club during the last 2 decades, consistently challenge for major honours,more ambitious, can pay bigger wages, and will be playing Champions league football this season which is something Spurs wont be doing. Man United, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and probably even Liverpool are far more attractive to the top players. Anyways moving on no player is bigger than any club so negotiate the highest price and move on
It makes him dig his heels in, and Modric is not going to get his move if the buyer doesn't want to pay Levy's price, which seeing as Berbatov's was £30M with a far shorter contract than Modric, will be very high indeed
Well mate I think everyone is in agreement that Modric will only be sold if a high enough bid is made so no need to discuss that as Modric won't be sold on the cheap, however because clubs like Chelsea & Utd pay the big fees for players they want then our value of the player won't scare them off. The issue here is that no matter what Levy says or alleged threats, if Modric wants to move, he will move, because he is so highly rated that both Man Utd & Chelsea won't be able to resist making a bid.
