Utd crying that Chelsea have had 4 days off this week and that it might have an impact on 4th place. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...me-leading-to-raised-eyebrows-at-Man-Utd.html
Crazy stuff, the only way they could have any affect is by losing to Liverpool. Not going to happen, Pool aren`t Sunderland.
Thing is even if we do beat Chelsea & clinch top 4 (not going to happen in my eyes), it'd be totally Man Utd's fault for not clinching the # of required points over the season. I'd be kind of worried if I was a Man Utd fan hearing the club make excuses already for not getting a top 4 spot.
Reports emerged this week that Manchester United were concerned over a rumour that Blues players were given a lengthy break and it might impact on their ability to beat Liverpool, whom United are fighting for fourth place, when the sides meet on Sunday, also live onSky Sports 1HD. Van Gaal can't be very confident of winning their last 3 games if he's worried about our result at Chelsea.
We need more detail, where did these reports "emerge" from, was the whole of United concerned or just some bloke sweeping the car park?
Utd would want to be more concerned with their away game without Carrick They've won less that half the games they've played without the creaky old salt.... or so I'm told. Utd at worst need a win and 2 draws to finish this out assuming lfc manage to win all 3 which in itself is a vain hope If they lose yet another tomorrow they put the 4th place at risk
Sources close to Van Gaal reported it, Beavis someone or other they cited, didnt catch the surname of this source Hope that helps!
Didn't know that blokes sweeping carparks are representatives of United, the story is on Sky Sports, that'll be the same Sky Sports you trust for football news, so why doubt them on this story?
United only need 5 points from last 3 games to finish 4th, if we overtake them it's because they've ****ed up massively
Has Van Gaal decided whether he was unlucky to not win the league this season, or that his methods could take 3 years yet?
