Oh and great performance by UKIP in the first seat announced to leapfrog the Tories into second, huge vote increase on 2010 It'll be interesting to see how many seats they become the main opposition.

First welsh seat announced, labour win it, Tories gained ground on the seat and lost by only two thousand votes, UKIP in third with more votes than plaid, lib dems and greens put together.
Contrary to popular belief on here, I'm happy with how things are going tonight. Best party expected to win. Labour losing the swing, therefore, Scotland won't get to run England. Hopefully (in my opinion) a Tory win or Tory / DUP deal.

It's looking like the Tories will out perform the exit polls... In terms of UKIP, as it stands they have three and a half million votes and are the third largest party in the UK, yet only have one seat. Just shows what a ridiculous system we have. South Thanet still to be announced and that's the important one for UKIP.
Also interesting to see UKIP seem to have picked up more voters amongst labour and lib dem supporters rather than the Tories.
Sad bunny here with the outcome of the election but not unexpected!! Cameron needs to become a proper PM now to tell his right wingers to go forth and multiply!!!
