Sunderland fan I know on another forum says Sunderland have turned down a bid from Bolton for MT and that Blackburn are interested. Do him good to get away from Bruce. His progress stalled when he left Browny. All Bruce has developed in him is thuggery. Would have bumped the other thread but it went to **** with arguments so started another.
M E R G E +++++++ It only became an argument from people who dont know whats been going on with Turner up @ Sunderland. Theo you are not that far from the truth. Maybe Turner fancies teaming up with Sam Ricketts again. SR not doubt has had a word with Owen Coyle. Myself, I would much prefer M T to go to Bolton and get away from the mackems.
Thinking on it. NP would be ideal to get Turner back to where he was. Maybe keep this on the back burner for next summer. I also cannot see Sunderland letting him go this season. But this time next year Turner will be in the Last year of his contract. I dont expect him to sign on again for the mackems.
Not at the moment. I would think it may get interesting next summer though especially if Hull City get back to the PL. Cannot see Turner leaving at all this summer, except maybe Bolton on a loan deal. Surely its in Turners own interest to let his contract run down by at least another year. Then Sunderland will have to sell if they want to get anything back on him. We shall see. For now i am very happy with the defence @ Hull City in the championship.
