The Tory sad sack brigade love them.. Keeps the boxes ticked and the unemployment figures down.. What do you think? Personally, I'd have every Tory MP shot tomorrow..
put them on zero hour contracts, stop their mortgage con, reduce their turn out fee, make them refund the attendance money when they fall asleep in parliament, and prosecute with prison sentences the ****ers who are caught fiddling.
****ing tory twat, can't believe we both love Stevie Marriott, I did like his left to middle side like and when I got annoyed it was always the right side..
What makes you think I am aTory Joe I hate all the bastards I only say that to wind RAW up lol, cant stand the fu ckers just hate labour more.
It shouldn't matter what you're politics are! Zero hour contracts are an abuse of the system and are just wrong! They're an embarrasment to capitalists as much as anyone else. That's one reason you won't find me in these big retail park retailers like Next, Sports Direct (apart from the other obvious reason) and other stores, that take the piss. They're an anachronism to any civilised society. It should have nothing to do with you're politics. It's just wrong.
When I lived in Lincolnshire quite a few of my mates RAW were school teachers and when they went onto these short term contracts they could'nt get loans or mortgages very easy, so are these just as bad as zero hours mind you if i work zero hours I don't get any money at all lol.
I know it suits younger people, like students, or second wage earners like young mothers who can work around another wage to suit their own hours and needs. But it's being abused by big companies who can employ large numbers of their staff on that system, many of whom are primary earners for their family. That system should only be available for marginal part-time staff, not full-time workers. It allows big companies to take advantage of workers in high unemployment areas and that's my problem with zero hour contracts. It maximises their margins to the disadvantage of their staff. I doubt you'd find the like of John Lewis, who value their staff, using that type of contract. At least, I hope I'm not wrong with that assumption.
Its strange now how everybody is against zero hours and short contrancts but not long ago there were no contracts at all and everybody seemed to gert on fine, who brought all these in, and before you say the tory bastards RAW i don't beleive you.
Every job involves a contract mate where you have set hours etc.. The zero hours contract is basically taking away any rights of the worker and giving all the power to the employer..
I understand all that mate I meant when did all these contracts come in I never had one when I was younger and never had a problem with any job I had and now its come to this, I was just wondering who brought them in,
