Cannabis Is Safer Than Alcohol It's a new party founded by one of the co-founders of Bebo with the main aim of drug policy reform, starting with Cannabis.
I would have voted green as they are the party with the manifesto I trust most and I think Emma b is more trustworthy than red ed, clegg, Cameron or farage but I am certain that a ukip/con government would destroy this country. As such, and considering the greens have been polled at 3-5% I can't see them getting in, so I'm voting labour to stop a worst case scenario
Ahh man, if only there was a candidate in my constituency! That's a one policy party I can really get behind!!!
Vote Green! If that's the party that represents your views most accurately then don't let the fear that allows our two party political system to flourish to sway your vote. The only way we will move away from first past the post and get any sort of real representation for the people is to vote for the smaller parties, vote the way we think, not vote to keep out the other guys.
If they had a candidate in my constituency they'd have my vote lol I considered contacting them and offering to run in my constituency but only found out about them too close to the election!
Unfortunately there's a large Conservative following at my uni and we got onto the topic of food banks. He said the Tories are the only party that had signs at the job centre which told people where the food banks were. Didn't really see the relevance of that, but I asked one of them: do you think people enjoy going to food banks? Their reply? "Yes! It's free food!" Proof if needed just how out of touch the Conservatives really are.
The Conservatives and Labour are both so ridiculously out of touch with the reality that normal people live it's almost comical, if only it wasn't so sad!
While the economy was in the toilet when labour left office, you can't blame them for the global recession, which was caused by a lot of different factors. And it seems widely accepted that Brown's quantitive easing programme stopped it getting worse in Europe. what needed to happe after that was a programme of careful investment and public sector building programme to encourage growth and spending - instead we got austerity and a stagnated economy, instead of following the German example. Labour aren't great and aren't left wing - they are a centralist party. But in comparison to Tories and UKIP they are much the better choice
They didn't cause the financial crash but there inefficient spending and over the top borrowing contributed to the state our economy was left in. Throw in a few very expensive wars in the Middle East and selling off our gold reserves at rock bottom prices and there wasn't much to work with by the time they left office. Labour made a lot of mistakes while in power (which is why Milliband keeps trying to distance himself from the last Labour government) and young people are the ones who will be working until we die to pay off those mistakes. I wouldn't trust the Labour Party with my milk money, let alone the economy. Just to be clear since I'm doing some Labour bashing, I dislike the Tories with great measure too!
Something I find quite interesting about Labour is how they've managed to use the NHS as one of its main tools in this election campaign despite the last Labour government outsourcing twice as much of the NHS than the coalition have since being in power and the huge debt left on the NHS by PFI under Labour. Politicians seem to just get away with saying one thing and doing another and yet we give it a handful of years and then vote the same guys who lied and broke there promises back into power, based on new lies and promises to be broken.
sorry afcftw but this made me laugh http://www.buzzfeed.com/jackjones/t...y-twitter-users-are-not-voti-1ht4i#.kraRWDe1l
i cant stand the pressure of this election. it's too quiet out there... Looks like I picked a bad day to give up smoking!
Looks like the country's ****ed with another term of the toff cocksuckers - not sure I can handle it. Still Rupert Murdoch will be happy and looks like things like the leveson enquiry is down the pan
