I don't think he'll go if Rodriguez returns to 100% fitness and we're looking to sign some decent players in the Summer. Just a gut feeling.

 

I have to agree with you there. Schneiderlin I'm not so sure about anymore, we've had a decent season and he seemed to enjoy his football with us. On the other-hand I reckon Clyne will be gone. If he wanted to sign he would of signed months ago.

I think in most people's hearts that has already happened. Would have destroyed us if he'd gone at the same time as the others...poor lad was just the wrong side when the door slammed shut just as he reached it with his suitcase. I suspect that he's enjoyed this season and doesn't mind now. We will certainly miss him, but I am already looking forward to seeing who is coming in. Mmm, not sure I'd say I will be 'happy' but I certainly would be confident that the club will get a decent replacement.

 

I've accepted it. I think we can do plenty well finding his replacement. It just took a season to do it.

Schneiderlin tried to force a transfer initially as he wasn't getting picked for France. He is now. I don't think he's that desperate to go anymore. Especially when you look at what's happened to the players who left for CL football. With a stronger squad, Rodriguez back, Reed getting more chances and Koeman picking his side better we could potentially finish 4th next season. I think he'll probably stay.
